I catch up with my old friend Lawrence Breakspear on the banks of the beautiful middle River Severn to talk about Lol's fishing life and his affinity with the Severn.
We talk about Lol's early fishing in and around Birmingham and talk about the early days of the River Severn barbel fishery from the 1960's onwards. For anyone interested in barbel fishing this gives a fascinating insight into how barbel became established on the river and how the fishing developed down the years.
