Clyde & Gracie are brother & sister, and the core of the group Lawrence. Linus is their younger brother, who just does guest appearances (for now at least). I'm sure you'll love their other stuff, Freckles, their cover of "Get Busy", and their cover of Christina Aguilera's "Come on Over" to name a few. I'd also suggest checking out versions of the song you just did with the horn section as well (how they normally do it live). They really don't disappoint with anything they do.

Definitely listen to the Acoustic/Gospel version of the song Weather. Similar vibe as this song even though they consider it their "sad" song.

The first Lawrence reaction I saw from you was "Weather", but this was so much better, seeing your reaction to hearing them for the first time. Also, Susan, you're such a good friend for helping him raise the roof since he was one-handed.. I recently saw an interview with them (they're touring with the Jonas Brothers right now) and they were saying that some of their musical influences are Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and (drumroll, please) RANDY NEWMAN, so, good call on that.. as an aside, I discovered them because the chorus of this song was in a Microsoft commercial and I couldn't get it out of my head, so I tracked the song down and have been stuck down the Lawrence rabbit hole ever since, lol.. I think you guys are really going to enjoy "I'm Confident that I'm Insecure" - it's just the kind of intelligent, quirky, sarcastic sense of humor that I think is going to be right up your alley with absolutely killer vocals and harmonies, all the way around, from beginning to end. At one point - not to give major spoilers - she makes a Beatles reference that made me say, "wait, did she just say what I think she said?" Lol. Sorry for the long post. I call it the Lawrence effect - i start talking about them and i can't stop. Thank you so much for being you and doing what you do. It's like Lawrence sings at the end of this song - "This sh*t aint ever gonna change, but I'm never gonna change." - no matter what life throws at you, just stay true to yourself and don't let the sh*t around you change you into something you're not. ❤❤
