I started fearing for our country when I finally realized my church was pushing lies that the Republicans were selling early this century. I left organized religion and started voting straight tickets...not Republican. I voted based on watching what they actually said and did in DC. Disgusted? Why? Are they all fake? That has only been used since 2015. Fatboy braggs about makung it up. WALTER CRONKITE? Was he fake? HE spent 10 days in Vietnam and as a network anchor came back and said' in my opinion this is a war we cannot win'. The hippies were blown away. Many Adults who respected Cronkite joined in. For you not aware. Cronkite and Andy Rooney were part of US press that wanted to report on WW2 and the brutal losses we were taking banging in daylight of B-17s. When they should up a bases they were welcome until they one day showed up to fly on a mission. The pilots and crews were thinking they were joking. We have clearance ask you commander. They were told are you guys stupid? This is dangerous and you are not trained and will get in the way. When told they could fly on missions they were told. If you are wounded nobody will leave their posts to help you. Also you better learn how to shoot a .50 caliber gun and learn first aid. Fox News top guys were fired for sequel charges. Hannity? I am a talk show host, not a journalist. Like Fatty it's all about ratings.

Journalism is NOT a dying art. What is a "dying art" is our ability, as Americans, to recognize excellent journalism. It's so simple: WHO-WHAT-WHEN-WHERE sometimes WHY. That's it. It includes NOBODY'S opinion. What is dying is our wonderful form of government because of our IGNORANCE. Everyone has the ability to form their own opinions and vote accordingly. We have the best form of government. Our ancestors gave us that. Now we may lose it because we don't exercise our right to choose our best leaders - leaders who believe as we do in our most precious form of government. The "orange Jesus", as his Maga nuts call him, would take away your right to vote or have any say in our government. Is that what you want?

Your system of democracy is seriously flawed because of the EC, and has been corrupted for years: gerrymandering and voter suppressions being the best examples of that. A year ago I was seeing on Twitter a man I respected, a retired General talking about Biden's age. Saying he shouldn't run again. I was surprised and angered. Cable and internet -- I remember the first day of MSNBC. I was a contractor at Microsoft (the MS part) at the time and the offices for the online side of the joint network venture were down the hall from my office. Many people in my building were in the cafeteria watching the first hours of the new network that day.

Every country in Western Europe has national news media and newspapers that give the facts to the public. There are also many TV discussions about important matters.
