O'Donnell recently had Lawrence Tribe on, who, as a judge, had Merrick Garland as a junior. Tribe said that Garland would always collect as much evidence for any court case as he could, in order to make an iron-clad case. Tribe said this is what Garland is doing before setting what would be a precedent: to charge a former US President with criminal activity.

It was my summer between high school and college and I was painting houses. I was up on a ladder with my old transistor radio hanging from the ladder and I listened to the Watergate Hearings for weeks. I was captivated by those hearings. I remember it like it was today when I heard of the recordings. I nearly fell off that ladder. When I arrived at my college at the end of the summer.. away from my controlling parents, I changed all my classes from Business to Political Science. This session with Lawrence O'Donnell has sent shivers through me this morning. Finally, it seems that Trump may be in a corner that he will not be able to escape from without criminal charges.

The FBI probably received help from NARA. NARA's responsibiltuy is to catalog presidential papers and everything was logged in the WH. So NARA would know what was missing once they finished conducting their inventory when they received all the boxes of presidential papers that was delivered by the GSA. If a federal employee had done this, they would have found themselves charged, convicted and would be spending time in prison already. Just put the SOB in prison already.

THAT'S the "standard." Not that he moved "some" boxes. But that some of the boxes he moved contained documents he was required to surrender. You need to get to work on an alibi as to WHY he did that.
