Wow, great timing on this video. I just refocused my practice, and I’m only practicing in one niche area of law. I have been pretty passive about networking, and I have zero advertising (not even a website), and yet I’m getting referrals from attorneys that I’ve only met one time. I need to increase people’s awareness of me. I’m going to work on presenting myself as a human who happens to be a lawyer.

I have zero idea how this got in my RU-vid feed. I am not a lawyer. I watched the whole thing though. For me personally, I would look for signs that indicate the lawyer may know the judge personally or other important people. I'm probably wrong, but after watching the Alex Murdaugh case in the news it seems knowing the key players is all that matters in law.
