Yes it does need to be connected to power at all times. It does not have a rechargable battery.

You register yourself onto their portal and you can Live view without subscription. Only works on some cameras

Yes must have Wi-Fi to work. Only way it can be setup via app.

If you are not going to record, then yes, you can use it as a view only cam.

I beleive it only send notifications for each event or moment only.

This is not compatible with the Echo Show 5.

Unfortunately , I have not gotten a chance to test that one out.

If you are able to set up a hotspot with your mobile phone data, maybe the will work, but I'm not sure. You can surely give it a try, though!

@@NerdGadget that’s great thank you! The phone would be in the house where the camera will be connected via the hotspot and other phone will be able to see the camera whilst out and about! Just don’t want more internet WiFi contracts! Thanks!

It actually needs to stay plugged in for it work as there is no battery to charge.

I believe it is only for Android and iOS. You could mirror you phone app to a PC with a phone to do that.

I believe it only records events... not continuously. However you can monitor from your phone remotely.

Yes!! You need to insert an SD card for the function of auto record 24/7. Then you can set it through the Arenti APP, Settings-Recording Management-Full-Day Recording. A 64 GB SD card lasts about 3 weeks of continuous recording. Easy. You choose between Fully Day recording or Event Recording. So choose "Full Day Recording". Ignore the other reply, they're wrong. It's a great little camera

If I remember correctly, I think it may be asking for 2 numbers in the password.

May need to do a hard reset and set it up again.

@salehabegum6826 The rest button is on the back of the camera. It says rest it. I also show it in my video as well. Just hold it down for 5 seconds while it is plugged in to reset it.

I believe you would need to provide them with the same username and password.

If I remember correctly, manually roll the camera lens upward to expose the Micro SD card slot. Not sure why I did not demonstrate that in the video. 😢

If I remember correctly, it auto saves to your device if cloud servicenis not selected. You can check the album phone app to see if there an option as well.

under the lense. slide the camera up to reveal the slot. or down i cant remember.
