I even forgot it was supposed to happen. There are better fights in this arc, with how they are gassing Wendy recently, she finally may get a properly animated fight. Not to mention they just gonna fix it on subsequent releases like Blu-Rays. Aldoron arc is just full on fights on fights - any of the Diabolos fights or the actual Aldoron fights are the ones that deserve the animation budget of this season. Clearly production needed help for this.

The fightbetween these two should have been even longer. Erza's sword swings were slow. It must have been rapid sword swings over and over. We should have seen Laxus struggling. We literally saw that Erza did not get any stronger in this fight. Hiro Mashima is very bad at creating battle scenes. He's trying to finish it all at once. I wish we had seen Laxus and Erza fight in just the whole episode.

Slashing attacks won't do shit to laxus because red lightning dragon mode is powered by his blood. Basically, the more he bleeds, the stronger he gets. Erza's plot armor won't help her this time

this was my fav fight from the manga and they outsourced it. it was so good in the manga with proper choreography and everything it sucks that it was given this treatment.

I cant believe no one in yiur chat knew why lacus had red lightning. Smh It was a result from his fight with Wall from Spriggan 12 when he used the runes to try to detox laxus becsuse he stil had antimagic particles. And laxus infused his blood with his lightnings

It was outsourced so it wasn’t handled by the same people who did episode 6. If it was, animation would have gone a lot crazier but it’s still decent/good. Hopefully there aren’t any more problems in the studio because so far animation this season has been great imo

Well Im glad that some reactor finally sees the animation for what it is. And no the ost doesnt make it good for it. It belongs in Bleach it's their type of ost, or initial D or Digimon lol. Btw you should read the manga chapter for this fight, it was amazing. At this point some fans on fb want to express their dissatisfaction to JC Staff about the whole 100 yrs quest.

And here comes the toxic bozos once again harassing people on social media. As if you didn't learm enough after original season to leave people alone. There are more important fights in this season. This probably gonna get better attention in like Blu-Rays. We already got so much better animation in Mercphobia fight and they most likely are keeping the budget for more important fights like whole Aldoron finale. They had production issues that made them outsource for this specific episode. Stuff happens in this industry, it always gets fixed afterwards.

@@mjm3091 Listen mahmune, the only tox1c one here is you and the rest that thinks like you :"oh but FT had never sakuga animation so whats the problem, or be glad it got animated in the first place yammer yammer". Thats the mindset that doesnt help this anime at all. First thing: it's 2024 every unknow sht today (that only god knew about the existence of their mangas) has decent animation for even breathing in anime let alone fights. Second thing: I would rather wait alot more years if that means that this show gets finally respected by the animators. It's a big and famous series ffs. And I don't care about which fight apparently JC Staff thinks it's important, I as a fan care about all of them. So shuddd your butthurt, and let people complain they have every right to it.

This was outsourced - which means something literally happened that they couldn't even draw the base version of the episode themselves. It's real humans behind it. Also the fact you decided to call me a monkey only proves my point. Such gross language.

What do you mean what do you expect. Jc have one of the best animators in the entire animation industry Kenichiro Aoki. Jc staff produce some great work like Shiki’s overdrive in Edens Zero danmachi and they did an excellent job on Fairy Tail 100 years quest episode 6. This was just outsourced due to the studio having some issues which was likely only a one time thing. It is a shame it had to collide with one of the best fights in the manga tho😢

We have seen this happen many times. They just gonna fix it and redraw for subsequent releases, this was outsourced - they probably struggled with scheduling and other bs, because Aldoron's fights are much longer than what we got with Mercphobia. It's back to back fighting scenes and I would assume - mini-arc finale is always more important than other fights. Everyone should just chill for a moment, calm down - and if they are such fans of this fight, wait for Blu-Rays/post-production fixes. It happens in the industry often, it happened in Fairy Tail before (the original Tartaros and Eclipse Spirits arcs were commonly slide-show during first TV release). Harassing people AGAIN is not acceptable behaviour, especially the hatred already sent into Mashima's direction. Like people are wilding.
