All I would add is that I only use this strategy on women's games (much more likely to see a break of serve) and the importance of match reading. If a first set has ended in a tie break, some players will look so down that they got nothing from so much effort, and lose heart in the second set. Similarly this can happen in a match where a player got hammered in the first set 6-0 and they look as if they feel they have no hope of winning. However, if a player loses the first set (I find 6-3 or 6-4 are best), and starts the second set looking as if they have some fight still left in them, they are more likely to break serve and/or win the second set.

Ive spent the past 6 weeks going through various strats you guys have shown, and this is the best one for me. Low liabillity with a high reward that can be achieved quickly. I use a lay liabillity to protect my bank and on average Im getting a 20% return on my liabillty usually within the first few games If i lay the FAV before start of the match. In and out job done. Sometimes i will then go on and lay the FAV in 2nd set and do the same. Cheers guys,.

Running through quite a few of your videos. Just tried this out on 2 games after watching and already a 20% return on initial stakes which is positive. What seems to amaze me is the amount of money being matched on these low key matches. Here's hoping for some more winners, appreciate the video. Explained very clearly and the live examples / advice on which games to look at really help

amazing how many times in play odds drop so dramatically even on close matches on 1 player gives you amazing value to lay I find it hard too pick matches beforehand and trade once in play my mind gets clearer and can see the trade the opportunity

Great strategy James. I have been looking at quite a few of the video's (especially Football trading). I may be alone in this but could you tone down the background music. It's not necessary and annoying. Thanks

I’m just getting into trading tennis so thanks for this. Btw I’d try memorising your script rather than reading it. You will come across a lot more polished and professional.

A bit confusing, you say lay the favourite before or in-play if the odds are right, then you say lay whoever wins the first set. These are two different strategies? Also do you have an odds range for the winner of the first set to lay at? Your videos are great, but could be a bit more straight forward and shorter. ie: instead of doing a segment on using software in the middle just do a seperate video. And shorter intros would be better to, oh and knock the music off, not needed.

We are more then happy with the format and layout of the videos. The music is staying and they really are not that long. Thanks for the feedback, we are a non profit community and charge nothing to anyone who follows us. We have no intention of becoming the most subbed channel or getting 1000s of views everyday. If its not for you, your welcome to just move on or just thank us for doing this for free. Thanks Mark

Backing the underdog if wins the first set would be the same thing?
@TradingTheMarket
@TradingTheMarket Год назад
If the Underdog wins the first set, you could either Lay the first set winner or Back the Original Favourite in the second set 👍

Hi, thanks for sharing ur exp, ur videos are great Can i ask if you do some prematch research? I tried this strategy but almost everytime i lost.... I tried matches with odds (prematch) from 1.6 to 2

I use ultimatetennisstats.com to check players form and serves etc but on the whole I look for a favourite to lose the first set and then lay the newly crowned favourite at odds of 1.4 - 1.5. The actual favourite more often than not will mount a fight back and win the 2nd set resulting in a profit
@timporter4008
@timporter4008 2 года назад
hi yes you need to look at lower odds and lay for less risk and place trade in play I find better generally speaking when fav loses 1st set and odds drop on underdog to make them new Favourite is good time to go in and can quite often just get out of trade for a profit after a few games of 2nd set if they break serve or even just getting break points

Now I did this today with a favourite in a ladies single match. The match was in the second set, so I layed the favourite, using the caluculation you suggest in this video, but for some reason instead of making a profit, I made a small loss, of 6p. I'm not moaning about that, becaue it was the first time I had done an inplay in Tennis and I was using it as a test case, but was surprised that I didn't make a tiny bit of profit, so I am watching the video above again to make sure I did follow the instructions correctly. Would you lads say that applyingn the 1.5 to 2 factor with for either the underdog or favourite for most sports ia good rule of thumb?
@TradingTheMarket
@TradingTheMarket 2 года назад
I would need to know what price you layed and then backed for in the trade dave. You need the odds to drift on the favourite to trade out for a profit i.e the favourite has a few bad games. With regards to odds of 1.5 - 2 it depends what sport and market you are trading in, you can't apply the same rules to different sports and markets. But if your laying a player or team you always want the odds to be as low as possible to lower your risk. Hope this helps. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask 👍

@DaveHayesTV 2 года назад
Your reply may contain the answer. The odds on laying were around 1.2 from memory, but I didn't back the favourite, which may as you say have affected the result. I'm still getting used to this, under standing that you lay as low as possible. I'll have another go tomorrow because it looks like a good market to be, though I have to say I am a die hard footy fan
@TradingTheMarket
@TradingTheMarket 2 года назад
@@DaveHayesTV you don't necessarily have to back the favourite you can trade out there and then for a profit once the odds drift on the favourite. If you back it once the odds have drifted all you are doing is removing your liability
@DaveHayesTV
@DaveHayesTV 2 года назад
@@TradingTheMarket Yes it was very helpful. I watched the video again and thought back to my own trade, which was based on this match. From memory I came in at the second set, odds were around 1.2ish, layed the favourite who by that time was on the way to winning 2 sets, but I didn't take much notice of the odds it has to be said, but cahed out and made the tiny loss. Its a learning curve for me, however, but the strategy I like and will try it again for sure hopefully today. I have Tennis Explorer stats and use Footy Sats for football..Certainly I like the strategy shown in this, because the liability is low : ). Is it possible you can do a video on Football Sclaping please, as I have seen a couple bui the endings don't show what happens and that is a strategy I definitely like. Thanks Lads
