Thanks! Yep, it can be a bit confusing. And I hate having to unpick my mistakes!! I usually just measure and cut out all the fabrics, then put the fabrics for each tier in a different place, and just work on one tier at a time. 🐸🌸 The frog pond and the bright flowers are my fave parts of this one, too. 🥰🎨👗
The patchworks bodice sounds so interesting, I'm looking forward to it! I'm finishing my first pair of pants at the moment. I'm removing the pockets as they made me look square in the hips, I can think of a few unflattering things to say about my body but square hips isn't one of them lol I'd bought some beads to place along the pockets to distract or make it more flattering....now, I've removed the pockets and I'm still married to those beads and have no idea where to place them. I think I'll sprinkle them around the top...I don't know lol
That's awesome! Pity bout the pockets. I love the idea of pockets but they never quite look as good as I think they will. You could sew the two pockets together, add a handle or drawstring and make a little purse. Beads would look fabulous on that! I absolutely love a beaded purse. 🥰🎨👜
