I think the one thing I learned is that it's best to outsource the tear out. Throwing sod isn't easy but tearing out is even worse! The rewards are worth it for sure though.
Does Brett know about the FL fert bans we have from June 1-Sept 30th? Or are you going to have an I told you so follow up on LCN next October? Gonna be interesting on that reel mowed bermuda! Maybe it can be nursed along just enough with X-Soil? I think the fert bans are what's making Zoysia popular. I can nurse the zoysia along just fine on 0-0-2 microgreene
Man, it's good to see the Ginja doing some warm season grass! I bet there were some sore backs after all that work. Next video, we need to see a UGA hat!
I did this exact thing to my back-yard this fall using the Toro Dingo with a bucket. It was really tough to not go too deep, and I had to bring in 12 cu yards of dirt to fix / level. I sodded with TifTuf Bermuda, and am hoping for the best! Thanks for the great video! I will be watching closely to learn how to properly nurse along the new sod.
Thd,I gun gun gun gun gun fun gun gun gun by gun gin to do that for them in that regard because they're in jail or even so long? You have nothing that happened before but they had been so good about them all day! You should do some fine for yourself if you're not a good person to my wife or something you will see here but if you're willing and a person should
Not a little different from KBG. It is night and day. However, my Bermuda is so much easier to take care of than my Tall Fescue (though I miss its deep dark blades).
If you are up for it, try keeping a small section at putting green height.. I'd be interested to see how the Bermuda would respond to that short of a cut
A mini backhoe with a flat blade would have made that job a 1000 times better, it is much more precise, then you load up the old grass in the skid steer and carry it away. You could have removed the grass without taking excess soil. Soil is very heavy and takes up too much room in the dumpster.
