@@Will_0001 I guess that depends on how large your lawn is. My back yard is about 8000 square feet and the 105 mows it no problem. It starts at 8 am and is typically done by 8 pm. I'd wager it could now about 4000 square feet more of it needed.
@@Brettsgrasscapades Thanks. Do you know if the limit (1/8 acre for the 105) means that's the most it can mow per day? Or that is the largest area it's capable of mapping out? I was looking at the specs, and it looks like the only difference between the two is the 110 has a battery with double the power.
I don't think so. If it was only needed for the docking station I would think the 4g would connect to the station not the mower? I could be wrong though.
I will never buy another Ryobi, I have gone through three pressure washers of theirs so far, all broke after little use. Very poor quality, it's truly a junk Brand.
I have had the same issue with trying to unlock the two sides of the head. I’m glad I’m not the only one with this issue but the trimmer is new and so far I’ve been unable to use it cause I can’t unlock it-frustrating
Nice one bro.. but I wanted you to comment further on the battery and charging prosess. Is the battery standard size or different models uses different size battery carrying different power output
I have the same LM2206SP with the 10 AH battery, and I mow 5,500 SF on the middle speed, and use 3 of 5 bars. There’s no way you mow 15,000 SF on one battery.
I was very excited to get this trimmer! Went to my local ACE and picked one up, read the instructions, put everything together, waited for the battery to fully charge, attached the battery, set my speed, pushed the lock forward, pulled the trigger and absolutely nothing happened, watched some videos did all the trouble shooting I could think of still nothing. And off course I did all this because by the time I did everything the support lines were closed!!! Bottom line, over $300 and I have a brick!!!!!! Very disappointed in EGO!!!!!!
Man you tickled me when you said, "I was thinking there might be a terd out of one of these." Great video. Your review helped me too make my decision. I was indecisive because a have about 4 Ryobi batteries. I will purchase the My 4 Sons. Thank you again, You are helping us with your detailed reviews. I know it takes a lot to make these professional videos, "your time" being just one of the major factors. But we need this. I was viewing another video on BP sprayers and that person mentioned your review.
One 2 many complaints about the ego line IQ. Beyond that, I have a ego lawn mower (2024 model) it's awesome BUT... There customer support is TRASH! I litterly returned 2 mowers due to 1 wheel SPINS freely while on the GROUND. My 3rd one does it as well. Other than that, it's cut up everything I've tested it on.
Great idea. But yes. way to big/not enough grass left next to the concrete. My village tree is set in a smaller space between the sidewalk and curb, and eventually I made mine wide enough and eliminated the grass between the concrete areas. It now looks like two parentheses...but still looks perfectly manicured.
Helpful video. Do you have the new bump-free model? For denser grass, don't plunge the head into the thickness. Just use the edge of the string at all times. You technique with the 3rd trimmer was better so you had better results, Also, I think the multi-head one spins in a different direction (counter clockwise?), so you have to adjust your technique to the spin such that debris and cutting edge is going away from you.
Just saved me $41.00…..I had bought it today and I was glad that I read your review before I used it…….i just returned……thanks for saving me the money and aggravation of not seeing any results !!
He didn't follow the directions. You can't just lay it on the grass and water. You have to till the area and remove all grass and weeds. We used it and even when the heavy rains washed away some of it we have grass growing in under 2 weeks.
