If you pause at 1:58, I lived in that red (fake brick) house when they filmed this when I was a student at the University of Cincinnati. The name of the street is "Ravine Street" That blue and silver minivan in the driveway three houses up the hill was my van. It was pretty need seeing them film this sequence.

This movie and prayer of the rollerboys is why I started skating got to compete in a couple Semi-Pro competitions before it all came to a screeching halt end of the 90's

This movie always reminded me of the rollerblading version of the karate kid! New kid, new school, likes a different sport, not popular or rich, different than everyone else, likes the forbidden girl, needs to prove himself, gets bullied, becomes really good at something new, races bullies and wins to show he's a cool kid and earns the popular crowds respect!

Was just going into highschool the year this came out and loved it! I was a big skate boarder in the 80s and loved the movie Gleaming the Cube and this was that version for bladers in the 90s! Street hockey was the shit!

Aggressive Inline was a big part of my youth. Came across your track while trying to finish the this part of the movie on RU-vid, lol. Ended pretty much where your track picks up the scene. You don’t realize how many hills there are in the Cincinnati area until you’re actually on top of one overlooking the city. I can’t recall the main part of town this was filmed in...besides the very ending by the stadiums of course.
This is one of the best "B" movies ever made... and the people that went on to become famous... Jack Black, Seth Green, Brittney Powell... and helped out Edie McClurg and Patrick Thomas O'Brien... and also you cannot buy this in the USA ... they only have European versions that work in their DVD players( the last time i checked) cause i have been looking for a copy of this movie for YEARS!
I recognize many of the places, but the race is jumping all over the city - east side, west side, downtown, etc. I guess it is like the Rocky montage run where it would actually be a 27 mile run to reach all of the places he went.
