Hello, I have a Casio digital wall clock that burned the screen due to being exposed to the sun. I would like to do a same repair, I don't know if it is feasible, what liquid do you use to clean it?. what background could I put since the screen is 6.5x4 feet. Thx

Hey Nihar! I had exactly the same problem in the same calc :D. Could repair it 100%. I replaced my back with a fluorescent paper as I didn't have any aluminium. Looks great now. Thanks for the guidance :)

Nice video and I am going to repair one of my Casio calculator which has got the same problem. The problem is I don't konw from where to bring that aluminium foil and how to stick that on the LCD. This video did not explain that. Can someone help please?

In my sounding I found that the mobile inner plastic reflect light Like a mirror so in my opinion it would be ideal for faded LCD screen ,Or any short of reflective materials like aluminum foil transperen rapper plastic etc. Thank you sir & have a nice day.
Keeping this same model scientific calculator unused for long time, the screen is blackened. Should I use this technique on my own or get it repaired at some repair shop? Is it safe to do my own. And why you use paint thinner and from where can one get mobile paper that you used?
" Ajeet Kumar " sir thank you for comment me. Sir the screen darkness is basically two type 1-Liquid Crystal blackness. 2-Reflective plastic darkness. Liquid Crystal blackness is not cureable ,,some people heat the screen using flame it is totally wrong . Look deep inside the reflective plastic damage is oval,rectangle ,round ,shape,triangle blackness will apear it means you're reflective plastic glue damage. I use blade because the company fit aluminium plate along with the screen . You can use any reflective paper like biscuit plastic back side. You can also use petrol as solvent which easy the plastic remove. Use nail with soft touch when removing the back plastic. Thank you " Sir " & have a nice day.
Sir, I have one of like this complaint with the display is fading by adding three or more digit. When I replaced the battery also. The problem is still there, how can I solve this problem.
Can we not replace with the new LCD screen? After removing the old silvery screen, the numbers can be seen on the calculator without replacing with a new silvery screen, so not sure what’s the silvery screen for?
The silvery screen is aluminium foil with highly polished surface. Recently I came across another repair video where experimenter have used photocopy & glossy photographic paper as well that works fine. I hv ti try it out.

As sugested have undergone your 4 models videos on RU-vid, my DMM model is HAOYUE--DT830D.Seen your vedioes carefully.but now my problems are even fully batterycharged(checked).all modes are not showing readings, therefore I give below all and registers numbers for further your valuable guidance Sir. Register numbers are R1-514 R2-514 R3-1302 R4-3900 R5-224 R6-1000 R7-224 R8-1001 R9-514 R10-1000 R11-105 R12-2002 R13-1000 R14-1002 R15-132 R16-1006 R17-9002 R18-9R00 R19-3523 R20-R990 R21-5483 R22-224 R23-224 And RX1-64R9. Please see above registers, if some one is stated wrong pl correct and give the colour codes so that u Wii try to rectify the defects. Another thing is that I have one DMM No. DT830D UNITY Model. This DMM is not showing LCD fully blanked even fully charged battery. Please guide in this matter. This is a very great video, Great job. just moments ago i found the perfect LCD Plastic from a phone to work for me and it made the screen look and operate as the original did, but just after I closed it up before screwing it up, I tried it again and the words and figures would not show fully. I opened it and cut a new piece of plastic for it but it showed small pieces of everything. Can I get some help as to why this happened?
Your flat flex cable will not be making perfect contact. I don’t know yet how to fix this aside from using something to apply pressure to the plastic flex cable.
@@Infiniti25 I gave up on it and packed it in a box, then for some strange reason my mind told me check it out again and when i did, it was working perfect. to this day i'm still using it. Just when i was about to order a new one.

When i saw my calculator a black shadow appears then I think how to remove ,,,you are wright that do not use razor blade but the Casio tightly paste with aluminium back as you saw on my video,,,, so I think thinnest type element to remove this thing so I decide to use razor blade.my brother thinner is a substance which used to dilute paints it easy to remove the sticky paper . It is a very common problem with this kinds off calculators, simply you just open your calculator and open display and rubber connectors ,wash it with kerosene and put these two component in full sunlight for hole day , then fit again ,after that your calculator screen work again like new one

My brother the reason is that the back sticky plastic glue removed when it becomes older so you can use aluminium glue tape for better view ,,, also you can try UV but I did know how it works. Please comment me if it is work. Thank you & have a nice day.

My multi meter not showing display. I. C. is good but surrounding pins of I.C.somewhat blackish due to once it was small short circuit all the parts are very good as well main I. C. ,Also buzzer is also not working. Pl give the solution sothat my millimeter can be repaired.

My brother just follow the procedure if your reflective paper is damage then carefully remove the sticky reflective plastic then clean with paint thinner or petrol is used to remove the sticky surface ,,,cut a piece of aluminium foil stick it back applying hot glue back side corners to stick reflective foil close with your screen .If the black black liquid crystal is entire screen then it will not repair.If your screen is like my screen it is repairable.
My brother "Edy Lau " Nail polish that I did not use because when it dry it can be easily out the surface looks hollow or rough ,,,,, So my brother go get catbury chocolate aluminium wraper or some short of aluminium stickers used in bike asseries shop . Or oil print aluminium colour paper is also used as a reflector.
