@@newway667 you are completely wrong. This nest has been raising every chick since the beginning except one siblicide last year. Which is unfortunately common in those eagles

He was about to snatch the baby

They normally just swoop by and snatch but she was on him.. even smart enough not to chase him because he would swing back and swoop

the LSE is heavier than the goshawk. Usually the hawk attacks the chick.

That's the goshawk's plan. It wanted the eagle to go after it, then taking use of its superior speed, it will come back to take the defenseless chick.. I have seen a video where the goshawks employ the same technique.
