I think every Mormon should listen to his Testimony, and decide for themselves what they think about it. Personally, I found it DEEPLY Disturbing, and rattled me to the core! 😫 I Don't believe he was lying about what he saw. The VIOLENT Spirital Attack he suffered after that Vision was also deeply distubing! He saw things in that Vision that Satan clearly did NOT want him to see - or tell others about! 👹

@stevenhenderson9005 - I am not sure what exactly is your point. There have been men in leadership positions whould would "tell stories to establish meaningful narratives that support one's belief", e.g. Paul H. Dunn. But when the truth came out that was not a good thing for his agenda. "Stories" from people like the Iroquois might very well be from an oral tradition passed down over the centuries that are retelling truths in a different "Frame work" as you mention, but I would caution on labeling them just stories, when in reality the challenges of translation might be the cause for analogies of explanation that do not seem normal to the English language, but in the native language are perfectly truthful and make perfect sense. As for "visions from stones in a hat" I challenge you to produce a credible and verified original church source to provide a solid example that will lend credibility to your choice of words here (e.g., "narratives", "symbol representation", "stories" etc.) Otherwwise your comment stands as it comes across, speculative, an embellished speculation attempt to justify (and perhaps cover up) some sort of "intended symbol representation" of "narratives" that really do not have a foundations in real facts. That is not the type of message or approach that contributes to spreading the truthful gospel.

I just think it's so funny how people have to always make critical, negative comments on others videos. I know they are putting it out into the world to an audience that can receive it however they want, but I wish we would all stop being so contentious and debateful. I found this video really cool and testimony building about the purpose of the Book of Mormon being to gather the house of Israel and all of God's people he loves. I found the love of Jesus through thinking about how he remembers all of His people.

Hello I’m a cattaraugus Seneca (haudenosaunee ) from the wolf clan of western New York. There’s a good video which show how the haudenosaunee (Iroquois) were established it’s a RU-vid video (PBS video called haudenosaunee legendary founding) we used shells to create wampum beads and weaved it into a belt with a design and each belt has a story attached to it and that story is told and retold to remind the people of their responsibilities that connect us to the creator !!! It came to my attention, but so have so many other podcasts with Native American themed discussions from descendants of the Book of Mormon people on fulfillment of Book of Mormon prophecies. I do believe the Lord has reasons to help the discussion become sparked among the many descendants of the Book of Mormon people at this time, and there will be many actors from those people who help bring his knowledge to light. That scripture you reference is certainly an important one, particularly vereses 8-9: "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said: Here am I; send me. And he said: Go and tell this people-Hear ye indeed, but they understood not; and see ye indeed, but they perceived not." My father was one who dedicated his life to the spread of the gospel and the true meaning of the Book of Mormon. he being so anxious to see this mesage spread that for well over the last 20 years of his life he sent and paid for ads advertising this primary message of the Book of Mormon to Native American newspapers across the American continent. Joseph Smith is the one who was given the keys to this last dispensation, never to be taken away from him, and it will only be the words of Joseph Smith that guide this whole thing; that which is not the voice of Joseph Smith or bring his words to light shall not stand.

The only question I would ask you or anyone with an idea or suggestion on this would be, does that individual align with Joseph Smith in his teachings? Same, different, a little bit the same, a little bit different, how is the fit? There are a lot of "kind of" what Joseph Smith "might" teach out there and they find they have powers of persuasion with certain people. I don't know for sure if I would instantly recognize such an individual myself, but unless that person aliigns with what Joseph Smith taught and would teach today I will not be in a rush to join with anybody.

You could find the answer in the book "The one like unto Moses" by Rhea Allred Kunz. This man is alive today, as she explains, but his name is not mentioned in the book. It is a very good book to read and I recommend it. Greetings from the Netherlands.

I would be excited to witness Chief David Midegah going forward in that direction, especially if the "scepter of power" is used to give him an anointing and or entrusted to him to carry with him. @KaiJames44 It's not about the messenger who delivers a simple message. The restored Gospel through Joseph Smith does not need to undergo a credibility check to check the qualifications for anyone who might be allowed to share it, it stands on its own. The messenger should not distract from the message and should not be the focus of whether the information should be judged as valid or not. The information in this presentation is available to anyone who desires to search it out and bring it out. Anyone can research the sayings of Orson Pratt and early church leaders, and present them as I have done. It may be that I do not identify myself every video but that does not mean I have not identified myself on this channel. I simply put out information that I know to be true and fully realize there is a much bigger work and I am only one small voice with limited means to put out what I is possible, within my limits.

The messenger doesn't have to be seeking attention of his own for it to be legitimate. In fact, it actually lends more credibility that he isn't seeking fame or personal attention, personal gain. Many of us dislike the emphasis on other channels of the persons involved putting forth their personal fame ahead of their messages.

In haudenosaunee culture the women hold a much bigger role for instance they choose chiefs and can remove chiefs (from her clan) she is the land title holder , the land is connected to the female she raises the children but has the help from the other family (female) members in her long house she take charge of the planting season what will be planted and how much ect just to much to list so I don’t think we in todays society understand the role of a woman not even in the LDS (culture) church. the woman is the creators greatest creation just think about it just by the birth process alone speaks of their power !! There are 3 elements that appear at the birth of a child (water , blood ,and spirit) and the same 3 elements appear during Jesus living ministry water (baptism) blood (crucitfition) and spirit (assention) so I feel somewhere along the line the female role was replaced with the male or the male took on more responsibility than was originally intended

I don’t think that the LDS people are ready to truly understand this kind of Priesthood. We as women have a completely different role and a completely different Priesthood then what a man holds yet the women want the priesthood that a man holds. This is what modern feminism has done. Women is powerful in our god given femininity. I love the records of the Menenhah people. Changed my whole outlook on our dreaded monthly cycle when I learned that the men had to give a blood sacrifice every month to God but women didn’t take part in it because we already give a blood sacrifice to bring about humanity. BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

There are 5 founding fathers of the Native american tribes. 4 are asia based, and 1 is "European" based containing an X marker in their DNA. The X marker is found among the Druids as also around the middle east. The Indian tribes that contain this marker happen to be the Algonguin speaking tribes on the eastern United States. Mic Macs, Algonguin, Cherokee, Pawtawotame, Sauk/Fox, etc. When National Geographic one time was doing their Genome project, they had on their website highlights of people from around the US with their migration path. A migration path that followed their DNA. Of those, they had an Algonquin native highlighted, and in the description they literally said they didnt know how they got here because there wasnt a migration bread crumb trail like there was with the other founding Native fathers that came over the bering straight etc. They hypothesized that they may have come by boat. but they left it inconclusive. Also, in the intro to the Book of Mormon, it mentions that the Nephites/Lamanites were not the only peoples living here, that they were "among" the inhabitants already here.

You seem to take confidence in the solid footing of your intentional ignorance. If you are an expert on all of the people of the Book of Mormon you would be aware that early leaders did teach that Jaredites may very well have set sail from the coast of China. Coriantumr dwelt with the Nephites for a time and they also joined up with a separate group of people in the Mulekites. Has your unquestioned research accounted for the multiple variations which may not be known from these and multiple other simple facts, or are you simply content to post vain talking points that have been planted in your brain without you ever having been required to do any work to verify what has been propagandized into you?
