actually a great person, you're right, but he was very cruel about many things, he had great services but we paid a great price, for example, he switched to secularism The Turkish nation was more pleased with Muhammadism, but he didn't care much It did not give people freedom of belief. Many oppressions were made on Muslim peoples. And it should not be forgotten that he was also in the staff of the young Turks who destroyed the Big Ottoman Sultan, if not mistaken.

Love Ataturk from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 . Turkey is soo lucky that they had a leader like Ataturk. Time to kick out religious fanatics and bring back Ataturk's Turkey again. Yasa Mustafa Kemal pasha Yasa!
Respect from Poland. Turkey sure is a great nation worth its salt. Though, there are differences between defending what's yours and trying to take what belongs to another. Let us not forget that too many nations throughout the history did partake in the later. Regards!
Great leader Attaturk is. A shame that religious leaders in Indonesia spread speeches in friday prayers about him being a traitor who destroys The Ottoman Empire, a hyprocrite who betrays Islam by erasing chaliphate ideology, and a collaborator of a certain order that wants to see Islam crumbled. They don't know anything about him. He was a charismatic leader who defended Ottoman Empire against foreign invasions, a brave soldier, and a man who cares for his people suffering under unequel aggrements aggred by The Sultan. When he saw that The Sultan can no longer protect his people, he rally his army to fight againts foreign occupator and thus leading to the born of Republic of Turkey. Now, I know that Attaturk may do some bad things, but even hero do evil sometimes. Well... nobody is perfect and fully good. The point is, Attaturk, with all his good and bad, led Turkish people to free themselves and because of that he deserves the title "The Father of Turkey." Edit: I'd like to see what you guys think about my thoughts. Feel free to write any comments but with polite words please.
I'm not a hater of turkey. But the recent policies, especially with Erdogan, has shown that the country has abandoned the secularism and westernization put in place by Ataturk. Therefore an enemy of western values and peoples.
Atatürk has always been a great leader and more. I love Atatürk very much. If Atatürk hadn't been there, I probably wouldn't be able to write this right now. Also, thanks to the citizens of other countries for their nice thoughts about Atatürk!

Fun fact about Atatürk- He spent 2 years in Bulgaria and he even wanned to marry a Bulgarian girl, but her father (Bulgarian general that fought in the first balkan war) stopped her from marring him and until the end of his life, Atatürk never forgot her, he also really respected the bulgarians (probably because they helped the ottomans in Galipoli by making around 40% of the Central Powers soldiers there). Love Turkey from Bulgaria! You did a great job by kickng the ass of all Brits, French, Italians and Greeks together.
Yes, I've heard this story. In fact, I think I heard that that woman's father had invited her to a dance in front of her father one evening, despite her opposition to their relationship. Atatürk later had great conflicts with the woman he married and left.
You know, the awesome thing is, he never really had any major defeat. Like, maybe some minor ones, but he never really lost, did he? (Excluding ones that was won in terms of battle but lost in terms of treaty-ing, like Greco-Turkish war)

Respect to Turkey from France. Never had the best relations but it is clever to say that France and Turkey(or Ottoman) had the less negative relations(thinking about the 30 years war, Crimean war, French investments in the 1800's, diplomatic relations with Louis XIV) Modern Turkey under Atatürk had a real potential of "westernizing" but keeping its culture. Just to say im not to pleased with the current government of Turkey(I wont comment more on it here). I hope in the futur that our relations would be greater.
Thank you. Actually France and Turkey were ally since Suleiman, there was some rivalities too but in the end Turkey is a country that has lots of French Influence from past.
Wrong. Ottoman empirr and french emlire were friendly against each other UNTIL french revolution. Then, their relations got worse when napoleon attacked to egypt. After that, since Ottomans were terrible in technology during 1800's, france has always tried to destroy ottoman empire secretly, just like any other european country. About the indepence war, i dont know why peoples talks like Ataturk was the only thing in the war. They are ignoring the folk, who went war, their 11 years old kids, who also went in war. What i am trying to say is thatbthe entire indepence war is just connected to one person. Westernization..... Just an excuse for missionary. I am not against taking europea's science but i am against taking europea's culture. Also Turks and Frenchs are way different two cultures/genetics. ( also i dont believe there is anything like "culture" left in france since they get corrupted) The currently Turkish goverment.... Let me say, they have lots of mistakes like managing economy bad, terrifiyng education system, but, it is not your job to say anything to them since they belong to turkey. Also if an european/american says something is bad, world should know it is something wholesome that "the west" doesnt want other peoples to enjoy it. Also your goverment is using islamaphobia to gain vote. And you are just one of the europeans who believes anything they saw on media.
