I love every Le Labo i tried, i didnt even force myself, i just enjoy them a lot. Musc is something i would give a large amount of money for, no problem, love it too much
I bought Citron 28 2 years ago. Beautiful scent but I have trouble justifying expensive. I remember when it came out someone compared it to D&G Light Blue which I thought was hilarious because it was somewhat true. As for your comment on Musc 25 vs Musc des Sables...I find them to be polar opposites. M25 is loud and has 2 musk notes fighting each other...one clean and one dirty which is a fun experience. MdS is a softer, more powdery musk that dries down to a gorgeous vanilla. I own both but I would have a hard time recommending one to someone but if I did...it would be Les Indemodables just based on price per value alone. SOME city exclusives are priced too high for what they are but I would say some are worth the city exclusive price tag (Cuir 28, Poivre 23, Benjoin 19, Tabac 28)
Yea I'm liking Citron but again.. the price -__-. My experience with Musc 25 was limited having just tried a spray on the arm a couple times at the store. The mix of powdery and clean musk reminded me a little of Musc de Sable but to me the Les Indemodables feels richer and deeper. Maybe I just wasn't picking up all the musks in musc 25 because I never got to the skanky part and it felt quite light to me. It happened to me with Gaiac, I couldn't smell anything the first time I sprayed it in store, but I started to detect it more as I walked outside. After owning a bottle for several years I find it lasts for days and days.
The Berlin one, -Cedrat is really good. It's just so expensive and something like Dior Homme cologne does it just as well. The Tabac one I thought was decent, but same thing... too expensive when someone like Rania J's T Habanero does it better.
I tried Tabac and liked it but I didn't have to have it. The price was really high and I'd rather buy Sundowner for a tobacco fragrance. I will say that I really love Baie 19. I'm glad it's not a city exclusive.
