When she said that Le Sserafim is the GG group she’s looking forward the most, I remembered when she was reacting to 2NE1 MVs. That’s when I started waiting for her reaction videos. My bias was 2ne1 and now Le Sserafim.
When 2ne1 disbanded, I felt detached with Kpop. It’s hard to look for unique girl groups nowadays or group in general that will give you something new and special. Although 2ne1 still my bias all time, Le Sserafim made me into kpop again. Aside from their good music, they’re funny as hell. 😂
what i love about le sserafim the most is that they dont rely on trends in order to have a succesful comeback, in fact they do the opposite and follow their own trends. or even start trends

Oh My G as a long time kpop fan of 15+ years and as an og fan of 2NE1 like yourself I feel the same way about these girls, I haven’t felt this excitement and followed a group like actually follow them, watch all their content, keep up with every news about then etc. in a long while. This excitement that I feel is the same excitement as I felt back then with 2NE1, my holy trinity of girl groups are 2NE1 -> Blackpink -> Le Sserafim.
The first teaser, BURN THE BRIDGE, actually I considered it as an individual music video. The hype from that video is amazing, which make a good contrast to UNFORGIVEN. also another good point: they not use any Burn the Bridge footage, but rather they linked it by using a object/character, like horse, heart, angel kazuha, and wound on the face. But for anyone who wonder what connection from BURN THE BRIDGE with UNFORGIVEN, here it is: BURN THE BRIDGE when I google it mean: you do something which forces you to continue with a particular course of action, and makes it impossible for you to return to an earlier situation (or relationship); and that's why they answer is they are need to be UNFORGIVEN, as they must continue walk to that faraway land together, and that's why they take role as a villain that will remember by everyone. Hence the chorus is more an answer/a statement: I'm unforgiven, I'm a villain, I'mma walk that path, It'll be remember as a new era, unforgiven; which directly continuation from BURN THE BRIGDE lyric which more as opening for what they plan to: The path I meant to follow is back there. And I say to you, Let’s go beyond together... “To come to that faraway land with me”... I’m never going back, We’ll burn it all and it will light our way... So at the end, both the song it is their own story: They already impossible to return to their past (as IZ*ONE - Sakura Chaewon, as Ballerina - Kazuha, as Student - Eunchae Yunjin) = so they BURN THE BRIDGE (that connecting to their past) = We become a Villain, which marked as an UNFORGIVEN = so We must continue to current path we choose, which mark new era for them (as LE SSERAFIM). And that's why BURN THE BRIDGE track is opening act for UNFORGIVEN, just like THE WORLD IS MY OYSTER for FEARLESS, and HYDRA for ANTIFRAGILE. And that form their trilogy of LE SSERAFIM, which confirmed on official album track listing (check wikipedia). That why there is no question need to be ask to us again at the end of video, as the final answer is they already become a villain, an UNFORGIVEN, so they able to move on to their next step.
it's good, i wasn't disappointed because i knew that for me personally antifragile set the bar too high for themselves. So knowing that it wouldn't be better or as good made it so much more enjoyable for me

i found the chorus very repetitive, i was fine with antifragil because we inly had one song like that, but now they used the same formula so I was a little bit disappointed. The video and choreo is amazing tho, although i would have loved if eve, psyche was the title track
