Loved his excitement when he got to overlap with the ad-libs@4:23 like that's been a dream of his to fulfill with the voice of princess jasmine. His passion is so electrifying!
I really don't watch A Whole New World covers without Brad, so I disregarded this years back. After watching Tick Tick Boom tho, I freaked out when I realize she's singing with Lin😆. The video is overflowing with amazing talents lol.
Does anyone know the lyrics? I totally dig his tagalog song. Hahhaha he's so embarrassed but i totally like it! Being a filipina and knew that he had an ex gf who's filipina, it completes me.
No disrespect but I had to listen to the song again to look for the Tagalog words (which I don’t speak) because all I got was coche, chinela, zapato.... which is Spanish. But I guess maybe Tagalog has adopted them like many other Spanish words?
You're right, those words are originally Spanish. That's because Philippines was once a colony of Spain. I listed the Tagalog words to help you understand the song. Hope it helps :) Kaibigan - friend Kotse - car Pera - money Bahay - house Susi - key Kwarto - room Akin - mine Tsinelas - slippers Sapatos - shoes
Jeanette Sarra Wow, thank you lots!! So, we say “cuarto” for room too. Pera surprised me because it means “pear” in Spanish. I love this, I’ve got quite a few Filipino students and should try to learn more Tagalog (given that my job’s to teach them Spanish). Cheers!
Pear is peras for us. Hahahaha. Its nice how Tagalog and Spanish are completely different languages but still same in some ways. Also, I hope your students are not giving you a hard time 😆
that song 😭😭💀 Hey, kaibigan (friend), let’s drive in my kotse (car) I don’t have any pera (money) I don’t have any money We can drive to my bahay (house) I got the susi (key) to my kwarto (room) We own the place[?] It’s completely amin/atin (ours) You slip off your tsinelas (slippers) I take off my sapatos (shoes) And singsing (literally “ring” lol) for your ring Singsing for your ring
