A friendly and highly scientific competition where we trolled the same lures at the same depths on both lead core and snap weight set-ups to see which caught more fish, with surprising results! Fall trolling primarily for walleye and small mouth bass in Northern Minnesota.

My brother argued the bass which didn't quite make it into the boat at 09:13 didn't count. I think a failed boat flip counts as a fish! What do you think?

As someone who fails often trying to bring the fish over the pier, etc,... I think it counts. It bit and it got reeled in.

No problem man. It's an Okuma Magda Pro 300X Reel with Suffix 832 Advanced 18lb lead core line. I'll be making and posting a complete review of the setup and it's advantages and disadvantages over the snap weights in our experience. Thanks for watching!

This winter I hope to be doing a good amount of bowfishing for sheepshead. I got a small boat (video to come) and am near a bridge... I'll be sure to get some videos out!
