i think hes actually got a 3080-3090.... but either way upgrade your CPU you'll see a big improvement. The mods really hinder performance a bit but otherwise you dont need a big build to play :)
Arma is CPU reliant and no matter what, it will run like shit when there's huge amounts of AI present. My friends with 3080s and Ryzen 7 5800xs can't get more than 40 fps if there is shitloads of AI present. It's just the way Arma is, it ties client fps to server resource usage which varies highly when you spawn a shitload of AI.
imagine 100 man vietnam ops... creaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam, pity im too oldschool and love nam games too much, sad the younger fellas dont have hte same love
You know there is a fantastic Vietnam DLC for Arma called Prairie Fire. It had real MACV SOG vets as advisors and is great. and has a superb online game called Mike Force that is just like Liberation that Karma plays.
@@bazza2453 yeh i know i was a big lover of the unsung mod ran a clan for 2 years and we did these pvp ww2 events on the side that were going on at the time too was the golden days for me, im thinkin of making a couple of good PVP mission files that will be excitin to say the least, will test in a clan enviroment first n if its addictive like the big 70v70 ww2 events maybe we`ll see if the community wants to do arma events again , most fun i had in gaming was those times in my 20 years of gaming
Real life isn't a game. Adrenaline rush, sure... but there's always the constant fear of you or the buddy next to you dying, and most people have family and friends back home waiting. There's always the stress of doing something that society as a whole considers taboo under normal circumstances.
