John Maxwell says, “What we appreciate appreciates, and what we depreciate depreciates.” That’s why this week we’re talking about one of the most important components of leadership--gratitude. Gratitude helps leaders by eliminating self-sabotaging traits and providing a greater perspective.
After John’s lesson, Mark Cole and Traci Morrow come back to offer some application and share how they are applying John’s teaching to their own lives and leadership.
Our BONUS resource for this episode is the “Leading with Gratitude Worksheet,” which includes fill-in-the-blank notes from John’s teaching. You can download the worksheet by visiting MaxwellPodcast.com/[PRETTY LINK] and clicking “Download the Bonus Resource.”

this is probably the most important video yet.... The Leadership Relationship.... starts with gratitude.... I'm at level 0 in gratitude, but the direction will certainly be moving forward with that

One of the quickest ways to correct a tough day, week, month or year is to start a list of all the things you can be thankful for. Start at the basics - like the thoughts you have, the breath you have, the organs in your body that are giving you life… from there your freedom, your roof, your clothes, your opportunities, your friends, those who love you… your job, your income, your savings. Or your plan to get these things… You can get immersed in creating this list and before you know it, it’s your super power.

Hello Mark! Great content as always! One technical critique - this podcast (both video and audio only) are VERY low on volume. Nearly -6db if I had to guess by the fact I have to CRANK my radio when I'm streaming in my car. Your other podcast "John Maxwell Company Executive Leadership Podcast" is nearly perfectly balanced compared to this one. Why the difference and can anything be done??

I really appreciate John Maxwell and the movement he created. His approach to leadership helped me tremendously daily. Unfortunately, very seldom I can finish listening to these podcasts b/c of all the boasting and self- praise of the commentators. I wish they’d focus more on principles than on self-achievements. That just sounds weird..
