The fact that unfancied Shels are 1 win from winning a title shows how far the team have come and thats down to everyone at the club, not just duffer, the volunteers, the Save Tolka Park campaigners, the rest of the coaching staff and the fans, the mood of Tolka has changed since last year, even from the first home game, hopefully the beginning of a continued upward trajectory, win lose or draw on Friday, the team have done the fans proud Im not having any of that "injuries" talk for Shams either, we had 1 senior player on the bench in Tallaght stadium a few weeks ago, every team has to deal with it
If Rovers win the league they could earn a few more million from another run in Europe. And that's bad for the rest of the keague. They could become another Rosenborg by dominating the league for years and years. They've come a long way since they were homeless, and had to play a home match at Turners Cross !
It would be a disaster for Shels if they didn't win the league. But I think Rovers will do it. The 1st division playoff is interesting too, I think Athlone will win out... and get beaten in the final by Drogheda. A bit disappointed Wexford didn't make it, but interesting times ahead.

Well from here, shels should have had it won weeks ago, they imploded. But they have a chance on Friday. At the same time rover's were blowing hot and cold most of the season, never looked like they would win the league, but they have now caught up. So who will win it on friday, anyone's guess. Have shels got the bottle 😮
