There will never be an event this epic in league of legend history, from s4 to s6 it was one of the best game I ever played in my life and artistic direction had the best concepts ever
@@cartozzzTV IKR.....I was sad when they said no more custom game modes other than urf...R.I.P Nexus Blitz, Oddessy, and Star Guardian Gammode, you will be missed....
unpopular opinion but i actually like GP theme better than caribbean. i think the caribbean theme with the fast paced orchestra reflects an adventurous epic, but fails to capture the true nature of being a pirate, an outlaw of the sea. while this theme feels very chaotic, like a bunch of rogues just coming together to plunder. you have the beat which is very makeshift sounding, and you have the choir which is just a bunch of unprofessional sounding people singing a melody. i think the theme encapsulates the lawless nature of bilgewater and pirate life perfectly, so i like it much more.
That name kinda had a nostalgic ring to me. I heard of him shortly after the gp rework, and he happened to be the only professional I knew at that time who played karthus regularly. I suppose he took the spot phantomlord left behind. In a better way. I miss old League days..
@@wezkeyamtoez7419 that's the name of a youtuber/streamer too maybe I think who was famous for playing Karthus with teleport and revive (back when it existed). He was famous and popular and humble, but he got greedy and started scamming people into playing gambling games. He knew the people behind the gambling sites and they'd make him win so he could show off. it all got public and now it's the only reputation he has left. He tried to make comebacks, but I dont think they're any successful. I'll go see what happened to his youtube channel.
@@Irondragon1945 Honestly surprised people don't know who PhantomLord is - I mean he was the biggest League streamer at that time (maybe even the biggest streamer on Twitch?) In retrospect it feels kind of shitty how things turned out with him.
Running Wild and Alestorm are pirate-themed metal bands . They fit Gp's character almost too well. I imagine GP as a very cunning, honorless pirate who is intelligent enough to stick to a good diet rich in vitamin C and evasive enough to dodge Riot's attempts to nerf him the same way he evades the noose.

After Hearing "Revenge of the Reaver King" I realise this version for Ganplank for who he used to be, somewhat respected but brutal leader. while The Other is fitting of his comeback, a Showing of who he always was: a Monstorus beast of a Captain, that noone could trust. some section have a bit of the triumph added in, as his crew cry to help their King but he less care for their existence past a tool, that is why chats fade overtime, it really hit me in that sense of how much the song turns a chant of victory, into one of danger, Turning the Result into a Guarntee.
I don't even blame video game developers and companies for not adapting their content into movies or going towards movie after they and we see their true talents in writing and story telling as well as quality music and visuals. If they moved into movies in any form, media, news, and talk shows would bury them into the ground for not originally being part of, adapting to, or generally sucking the dick of Hollywood as a whole all while forcing them to sell their souls or crushing them for not following through. Meanwhile their video game content would be destroyed and buried for "causing crimes/violence/school shootings/drug usage", when that isn't true but any single person who doesn't play video games will follow along with the narrative.
