There are a few things that I find hilarious when thinking about this topic: 1) High challengers consider low challengers trash; 2) Everyone seems to think that if you are not on the top, you can't be right and your opinion is irrelevant; 3) Ppl calling each other trash when they have the same mmr and are in the same game - if I'm so bad and you are with me in the same game, what are you?
@SenkaYT

The last thing does not apply to high elos, from master you see challengers regularly due to the small amount of people that exist in those elos, so even if you are rank 1, you will come across a 1lp master with 1k games.

3rd point is bullshit Just because you are somewhere doesn't mean you belong there or even should be there Just because you have diamond doesn't mean you have earned it, it is quite possible that somebody used boosting [In this case an many others your point is simply invalid] If what you wrote is true we wouldn't have unqualified people on high positions in life But we both know that the reality is sad

I think a 'good player' is someone who actively tries to win, and doesn't int, leave games or give up. A bad player is someone who can't even try their hardest whatever that is.

This right here has issues with it though. 'Int' is such a darn vauge thing. If it is supposed to mean 'intentional feeding' but everyone screams that you are inting regardless of if it was intentional or not. If you get outplayed you are NOT inting. If you get 5 man dove you are NOT inting. This is part of the problem, because at any mistake or well executed play from the enemy you'll be screamed at for inting.

Ok, I think it's true and false. I was GM while I was studying at university because I've spent lots of time playing league. After graduating I got job and now play league only casually. My rank usually fluctuates between Plat I-III. I know I could climb back higher than that if I spent more time like before but reality is there isn't just enough time for that. I only play few games per week due to my busy schedule. Sometimes I even quit or intentionally throw the game because I need to get off PC earlier. And I think there are a lot of people like me who were higher elo in the past but after time got busy with their life and just plays casually just to have fun. League is already 15 year old game so majority of people who played it competitively have no time to do it now yet still plays few matches here and there.

The point you made about there not being "good" or "bad" players, but better and worse players is a really good one. I'm a masters player myself but don't even consider myself that good, just a little better in some aspects and mediocre in others. Too many people are focused on ranks and saying that someone is good or bad at the game and not really thinking about the grand scheme of league and the sheer complexity of this game.
@AdamDoesComics
@AdamDoesComics 2 месяца назад
let's be honest you probably have thousands of hours of total focused ranked playtime. (Congrats on masters btw) People think that they can play like 500 hours of chill time with friends and be a diamond player lol. League has one of if not the hardest skill curve of any game and a majority of the player base thinks they are too good for the grind. They don't even realize how big the difference is between high rolling on placements and hitting rank milestones vs playing hundreds of games a season to hit a rank. Wild stuff

@@ruskariimi7614 I would say you can tell a big difference in skill once you get to diamond people are finally showing consistent fundamentals. But before that you can win games even after losing lane because the enemies usually have no clue how to macro or use their advantage to break their base. So from my own opinion I would say everything under diamond is kinda bad because they don't really grasp the game properly. But then when you come to diamond and above it becomes a different kind of game. Now you gotta think deeper about the game it's not just win lane and hardstomb, because now people really know how to use their characters just as much as you do. But honestly I don't know the difference in diamond up to Challenger probably it's the consistency of not making as many mistakes and not tilting and having solid macro all the time.

"Once the mind has been exposed to larger ideas, it never returns to its original size." I feel like this is the main reason the second someone places silver, all bronze are trash, then once someone places gold all silvers are trash, etc for different ranks. Regardless of how many games it took you to get there, you now understand the game better enough than the previous rank. Part of me is equating this back to season 8 where it took me exactly a 1000 games to hit diamond 5 where I was hard stuck plat 5/gold 1 for 900 games but then watched a advanced warding tutorial then plowed through plat 4-diamond 5 with a 75% WR in those games. I had learned all the mechanics but due to a lack of vision, I was never able to capitalize on it until I had given myself the proper resources to do so, then suddenly everything below plat became trash despite me being there a day ago.
@particle3257

People will unironically say a diamond player with 50 games played on a fresh account with a 55% wr is more talented than a gold player with a 48% wr on 300+ games while 60% wr on their OTP, and personally I think that’s insane. Players that grind to get better at the game are punished, while the trolling lux on their 5th account is already platinum in 10 games, make it make sense.

I usually just go by % distribution, if you lower the numbers a bit to account for inactive accounts, you got a metric in which Gold players are average, plat above average, so on and so on The complex that always gets me about league is when people say that anyone below diamond is objectively bad at the game, like, diamond is in the top 2% or so, imagine if you went to a restaurant that's rated as "in the top 5% in the whole world" and tried to claim it's a bad restaurant because it's not the top 2% instead, everyone would just laugh at you

There's a few ways to measure League Elos 1. Player Distribution. Are only top 3.5% or top 0.5% of the playerbase good players? That doesn't make sense. So why do people say only Diamond or Master+ are skilled. Then there's the GM/Chall saying Master (0.5%) are shit. And if you try to argue with this then there's a lot of people that just say that you're Coping.... no, its just a way of measurement. 2. Ego. ← Basicly the measurement that is currently being used. 3. Skill and Knowledge vs. Average. If you really want to split players between High and Low elo based on how much they know about the game + skill, what is the bare minimum? How do we set that standard? That's why nr 2. is being used. Its always being pushed up with ego. Personally I'd say Iron ←→ Silver is low, Gold ←→ Plat is mid, Eme+ is high or... Eme ←→ Dia is high. Master+ is just... Apex Elo But again, that's debatable, but I'm just going off of nr 1. Playerbase % splitting it in 3-4 or 5 pieces. Idc about being able to say "oh I'm high elo", has zero to do with that and I have no interest in it, its just basic distribution and organizing things. Now I'll probably see some people reply to me that I'm coping for some reason smh

I will only disagree with one thing. The proplayers not being challenger is not because they cant, it is because they decay/not have as much time to play Solo Q between Scrims + Photo shoots +sponsor meetings (mainly because Scrims which are more important practice than solo Q imo for them). Nevertheless, they still stay at least in GM, and a bunch of them are in top 10 challengers as well.

Getting better at chess has been really eye opening in regard to this topic. When considering the whole ELO range of competitive chess, 400 is around one LOL division (yes entirely different distribution yada yada hear me out) but if you were to put a silver player in 1000 gold games their WR, while obviously below 50%, would not be 0%, in fact it wouldnt even be close to 0% it would be almost half, they would even win their lane a bunch of times. In chess on the other hand if you play against someone 400, 300, or maybe even just 200 points above or below you you FEEL that. I think it is this difference in experience when facing better/worse players that leads to this ego problem. In this regard chess is brutal, it rips the blindfold of and tells you "you do not have a chance in hell against that dude, git gud". LOL does not, CAN NOT do that. While in chess there are no outside factors (it is a 1v1 in a perfectly deterministic and informational game), in LOL you have teammates, champ matchups, game knowledge/experience on specific champs etc. There is to much noise in the data to easily show the difference in rank. Of course RIOTs matchmaking algorithm can spot the difference quite well actually but humans are REALLY bad with random data. Quick tidbit: Spotify had a 100% random "random selector" but people complained that it was not. Songs frequently being selected in a short timeframe is perfectly reasonable in a random selection but it does not FEEL random. So to fix their 100% random selection and make it feel more random they... reduced its randomness by giving the songs probability weights that depended on how recent they were played. So yeah some random schmuck had a 20 game streak with a 90%+ wr? "this is elo hell, my LP gains are shrinking, how am I supposed to climb, I clearly do not belong in this elo". They have a 20 game streak with 10%- wr? "elo hell is real riot is trying to push ME SPECIFICALLY down for [insert random conspiracy]".

As a consistent mid master player - high elo is not exist anymore. For me "high elo" starts when difference in skill is not insane across one rank,and games have good quality. So in earlier seasons it was around top 900-600 of my server. I played since s5 and was master+ since season 7 and was thinking that this is high elo. And around season 11 i just feel "highelo" does not exist anymore. We have like what? 22k master players this season? And diff between two master players can be bigger than silver and dia. I rarely play with some chall players, so i cant say for sure that at the very top there is the same problem, but i have consistent low chall/high GM friend who also claims, that games insanely bad nowadays compared to pre season 10-11.

Here's the issue in my opinion and it's really simple, and it does account for someone in diamond OR iron. League of legends. Is very badly designed. See, think about OW, most people hate OW, because the idea is to move the payload, which is REALLY boring. But getting kills, is fun and rewarding but it doesn't help you win. The same logic applies to league of legends. For example, would you rather get a pentakill or full team baron? Well, a penta kill averages 300 gold a player to 1500 gold. But full team baron is 1550 gold. But not one honest person will ever want full team baron. But, like OW full team baron helps you win the game, kills do not. But, riot made getting kills and buying items the most rewarding experience of league of legends, which is counter intuitive, because again those things don't help you to win. Taking turrets, setting up vision, doing baron, pushing minion waves and rotating to an objective. BORING. Do not lie to me, that's boring. Getting kills? Fun. Rewarding, now I can buy fun new item yay. There is a disconnect between what players WANT to do, and what players SHOULD do. They are rewarded for doing stupid things that can throw a game, or lose, but doing good things all game that are selfless, or less interesting and only somewhat rewarding are what you should do.

So a good player, is someone who has taken control of their ego to do the right things in a game. A bad player, is someone so selfish, that they're willing to actively do things that may lose the game because it makes them feel good.

For me personally, the clear metric of high elo is when you mention your current rank, in any league based community, and they immediately assume that you're humble bragging, then you're in High Elo. My personal favorite is "X is not even that high of a rank, insert * not biased opinion * but insert * bs reason behind it * "

I consider myself something of a gamer. At least formerly. I like to pick games and tryhard at them and prove I am capable of learning. That is due to a personal complex, but I digress. I have been top 100 in Overwatch (1), top 0.2% in Rocket League, and most recently, my last journey was getting Diamond in League of Legends in less than 2 years of starting the game as my first ever MOBA (May 2022 - March 2024). With all that said, I think what you said about "there are no good players, only better or worse ones" misses the mark a little. There *are* good players, good players are those that learn and practice and are curious enough to look past their mistakes and ignore what others say about them, all with the end goal of simply improving. They are single minded in that. Good players are those who only (or at least primarily) care about getting better. Small sidenote, rank doesn't mean you're good, it's nothing more than a byproduct of how good you are. It's a hard concept to grasp unless you come to understand it yourself

Point of this video though, is these people do not want to improve to rank higher. They blame their failures on team instead, or blame the system. They complain they don't deserve their rank, when in reality, it's exactly where they belong, literally mathematically.

I was SHOCKED a couple of weeks ago to see a Silver support hold the wave outside turret until his ADC arrived to pick it up. Really made me realize just how tiny the difference is between ranks. I literally don't notice any difference between three ranks, so from Bronze to Gold of example. High Plat all the way to Master overall feel pretty much the same too, the only difference is that the enemy will make on average like 1 more or so mistake during laning phase per rank. But to be honestly sometimes you obliterate a Master player but then get smashed by some random Emerald guy for some reason. Although toplane is THE lane of counterpicks so I guess it makes sense. I mean I lost once to a Iron I toplaner, still have nightmares about it. Also the huge amount of mistakes usually occur after laning phase ends. The real problem with bad teammates isn't so much that they make bad plays but rather that they make it super difficult for you to make the correct choice yourself, and it's really easy to make a mistake once they have. I agree that if you feel proud of reaching a rank, then you absolutely should. I know a guy who plays a lot but never really gets good, but this season he reached Platinum III and it blew my mind. I myself suffered through soloqueue for months until I reached Master for the first time, and I'm real proud of it despite every Master lobby shaming all "pisslow Master peakers" Proud to be the 299th sub btw. I'll look back on this moment when the channel has reached the minimum deserved sub count of 299K

ive played the game for 11 years and that does sum it up. I've played in all ranks bronze - chall and I've seen Diamond 1 jungler who completely fucked up a top laners wave and when I called them out on it, they literally told me "wave management doesn't matter because I'm still winning games." and on the contrary, I've seen plat players squeeze every bit out of their health pool (they're still going in with 200hp knowing that they survive if they play it right) and he understands wave management and everything, he's a really good player. Even in Challenger, you will still see Dravens going collector against malphite rammus because that's the "correct build according to this high elo draven main." The point I'm making is that people have honed too far into winning/losing LP rather than actually thinking about the game and some of the feedback systems in League are a bit lucklaster. It has been a thing since the beginning of league but the power of ff, coinflips, metas, metapicks and counterpicks is a bit too strong that people don't need to be knowledgeable to win. E.g for the past year up until the nerfs, it is so hard to tell 'good' and 'bad' tristana/corki mid players apart and consequently the high elo ladder is full of those players.

The WHOLE POINT of rank is to shit talk everyone below you, though. I only play ARAM, I actually just went and played ranked for a month to get diamond just so I could flame anyone that tries to talk shit to me, IN ARAM... That said, for me I personally feel like d2 and 1 are an entirely different elo than d3,4 and e1 and maybe even 2. D2+ are like, you notice when they are in the game, they're sweaters. Masters+ are undeniably good players, no matter how toxic, how mentally damaged. There is no question they are good. Same can't really be said for diamonds IMO. Some of them are mind blowingly bad like gold could watch their game play and scratch their heads like how tf is this guy 3 ranks higher than me? Yea idk, to me you're not even playing the game if you're not masters (including me).

I think a lot of it is exposure, i notice if i play against someone who struggles with fundamentals (ie takes obviously bad trades, gifts me fb etc) i stomp them and then proceed to suck the following game because i am not tryharding. On the other hand if i lane against a smurf (obviously smurfing and says so at the end of the game) i might lose the game but i'm on my 100% effort and proceed to win the following. So i think a lot about the game is also environment, and pushing one's limits/boundaries a bit further. Befriending high elo players and practicing against them would help a lot for instance

I play Wild Rift, but the real issue with matchmaking is similar. The devs have said the matchmaker alternates a player's games between easy and difficult to enhance enjoyment of the game. This is a backhanded way of admitting that loser's queue is real. And one of the ways they will make some of your games difficult is by putting one or two very unskilled players on your team who feed like crazy. Those games are very frustrating.

Adaptability is the number 1 skill that separates someone in silver from someone in diamond. This game can get very chaotic, and being able to adapt to the situation quickly and do what is necessary in the current moment will single handedly win you games. The rest comes down to experience and egolessness in order to learn. Taking your ranked as the representation of your skill is dumb if you have low amount of games and even then. Trashing on someone bcs of their ranked makes no sense, it will obstruct your mind from being able to focus on the helpful thoughts.

I think one of the biggest problems in league is players treat it as an individual game and not a team game. If more players saw themselves as part of a team working together than toxicity would decrease. it's always I have to carry bad teammates instead of we have to work together to win. The mediocre team that works well together will win against the team of mechanical gurus who are self absorbed more often than not. Also league matchmaking does suck.

I am/was Diamond in league of legends wilf rift, and in pc league I got to bronze and dropped the game, why? because it takes too much time of your life from something I could do that would make me have fun, the thing about rank in league pc is: you don't acutally need to be THAT good to get in the majority of ranks (Of course there are some ranks that you actually need to be good), it only requires time and focus, you just need to spam the most quantity of matches possible and learn at least something from each one, but that's the thing, as matches takes too long to end it turns to not being fun. In Wild Rift was like (Eh, I'm going to lose this match, so I'm just going to do my part, whatever, I will just do my best to carry the next one since this one is lost. In Pc League sometimes is like (Bruh, just from the champ selection screen I know this match is lost, there it goes 40minutes of my life) That's why wild rift is better, in 15minutes I've already destroyed the enemy team. If I lose? it's only 15minutes/20 and not 30/40/60 minutes or more in pc league.

the problem with ''high elo'' (masters +) is that if a masters player ends up on a 5-6 game win streak and gets put into a gm/low chall lobby they get utterly stomped becasue the differnce between masters and gm/chall is about as big as the difference between bronze and diamond 1 other than the massive skewed high end of the spectrum there isnt a lot of actual skill difference between bronze - gold ... plat - diamond 4 has a bit bigger variance but the players dont improve much skill wise between these ranks only difference is the Diamond 4 player has a better ability to cs and is better at there champ pool

Part of the problem players are facing probably is having being flamed at for playing badly at some point. Also the many games one loses despite playing relatively decent. Then, for a few games, one faces equally skilled players, especially the enemy teammates that gank one, so you're not even the worse laner, you just got worse teammates! If we then conquered that rank, we accomplished... at least something. We stepped over those obstacles that were angry with us. The sweet feeling of revenge kicks in and we finally are in a position to look down upon what beat us down in the past. To face league of legends logically and acquire skill in a rational manner, that's too easy, cmon.

If a person told me that they knew everything in the list at 4:22 and that they were gold, i'd genuinely have to assume that they're either lying or trolling every ranked game. Or they don't know how to apply any of the knowledge they have in which case it's useless. Not every pro player is challenger because soloq and professional league of legends are two different games. Playing well in a team environment is a very different skillset altogether (I can attest to this because it's a skillset I don't have), they're busy playing scrims. Even so most pro players that don't grind the ladder 24/7 playing meta champs still consistently manage to reach high master/gm, believe it or not they get paid to do this for a reason. I moved on to other games after ending master tier last season. As much as it pains me to say it emerald rank is my cutoff for if someone is a decent league player or not, like I could never see myself losing lane to a plat in a million years but with emerald there's a small chance. Most people don't believe me when I say this but players start to have decent macro in high diamond, because you need your awareness, tempo, rotations and wave management to all line up before you can make tough calls that don't have an obvious answer. Players above master tier; I don't know how they do it, they're not normal. Like I swear some people are just test tube babies created for the sole purpose of mogging you, counterpicking themselves and still 1v9'ing. rant over, LoL is a shit game, play rocket league if you want your skill to correlate with impact every time.

I think the biggest problem of climbing in league is that this game is heavily team dependent and carrying has became much more difficult in the course of the years. Solocarrying requires you to be at least 2-3 divisions of skill above your actual rank. A plat/emerald player can smurf a bronze/silver lobby pretty easily. But let's say you're silver, even if you play in a way that would deserve you to be a Gold player, you still won't be able to carry easily. To actually climb alone this game requires you to have a completely superior skillset compared to the other 9 players. So as a general take on the game, I would say League heavily rewards players that are significantly better, but not the improvements you have to make for example getting a single division upgrade.

I want to share some of my experience with Clash; sometimes my friends would win lane and perform better than the enemy laner even if the enemy is higher division than them (its usually 1 rank difference when this happens, for example, my friend who is platinum would outperform emerald enemy, or emerald outperform diamond enemy). So in competitive setting where there is actual voice chat and everyone is drafting properly and banning properly, some lower rated solo Q players can beat higher rated solo Q players. Sadly riot refuses to introduce any kind of ranked Q that supports voice chat, so the "team play skill" is not as relevant to your rank compared to Macro-Micro, therefore its stupid to even talk about who is better player if the difference in solo Q rank is not large. You would often see some challenger players underperforming in team setting, so my point stands even for the top 0.001% of players

The problem with "high" and "low" elo is that everybody have their own definition. Player who have time to play 5 games a week will call plat high elo. Player who play 20 games a week and somewhat follow league content will call diamon high elo. Player who tryhard their ass off and play 5+ games a day, watch guides and proplay will probably think that challenger is high elo. To add to this there are players who will not care about rank. One of league problem is that there are insane ammount of players who shouldn't be on their rank (boosted) and players who shouldn't be playing their lobby (boosters/smurfs). Another one is players who are above their rank with skill but play funny champions/offrole (see offrole challenges) and then are getting back to their main on the same account. People will not play the same skill level on every game for a lot of reasons. And lastly as I opened it. People will most likely have opinion on which is high/low elo based on their commitment/time/skill like in EVERY competetive thing that ever existed. In every sport that has leagues/international competitions there will be higher or lower ranked leagues like in football everybody will agree that portugal league teams are better than albanian league teams. Most people will consider both leagues players to be highly skilled but if you take premier league players most will tell you that albanian league players are low skilled players while opinion about portugal league players will be divided. The same with league of legends. One rank is better than others but what you consider high/low elo depends entirely on you and this discussion will never have end.

something to consider that you didnt mention would be that the league rank/lp system itself is has been absolutely fucked for a good while now, lately they have attempted to fix with measures like removing demotion shields, adding emerald etc. but its still nowhere near optimal, and this means that a players rank is not only dependent on his actual skill but rather also his understanding of the rank/lp system and how to exploit it (you could for example instantly get placed into platinum on a fresh account and make +40lp gains despite being hardstuck bronze with +8lp gains on another acc) oh yea and actual player skill brackets from my experience having played to masters and countless flex/normal games with chall players: ??? : Iron-Bronze - players genuinely dont know how the game works (any fresh account with a few normal games get placed above these ranks, they basically do not exist) Low Elo: Silver-Plat - everyone is kind of playing the game no, just not exactly good Troll Elo: Em4-Em3 - these 2 divisions include gold-diamond players of previous seasons and every new smurf account resulting in horrible coinflip games that can barely be influenced Mid Elo: Em2-D3 - draft and meta is getting important, and everyone is at least aware of all the basics but cant consistently apply them Mid Elo+: D2-Master - basically the peak for anyone playing casually, most but not all games have decent quality, last elos to have variety in gameplay/draft that dont 100% ruin the game High Elo: Gm-Chall - anyone that can stay in these elos consistently and not drop throughout the season is the elite of league, games can be rather repetitive

Never played ranked, but I do watch streams of League players playing ranked. They're definitely delusional whatever ranked they're in. More often than not, they blame their teammates and give them so much shit, but when they make mistakes, they never acknowledge it or they find a way to blame their teammates more, so they never really end up getting better or getting out whatever rank they want to get out of. Forever stuck. Forever complaining. They also make asinine comments like "I've seen Silver players play better than my team" while also making the same comment "Jesus, what elo are we in, Silver?" implying that Silver players are good, but the Elo is bad? When they win their lane, but their teammate(s) are feeding, they lose the game. When they lose their lane, but their teammate(s) are fed, they win the game. For some reason they can't put two and two together that they just can't carry games, but their teammate(s) can carry games.

tbh Emerald rank peak currently plat but i don't play that much, just have other sh.. to play. I've seen a lot of all kinds of ranks games and in bronze or iron there is this kind of you just can't carry them all sometimes and sometimes you can. Sometimes it's very funny how in gold people may know more about the game or abilities than you when you are above gold and people are like how are you this rank boosted? and stuff like that. Ofcourse there is a lot of factors to include like what role are you playing what people at this rank are capable of and is it worth it to main this champ or this champ. I would say the game and the player mind are 2 diffrent things and how you judge them is up to the people, but for some they climb by maining meta champs, some just main the champs they've grasped so well to play and want to be considered hello I play a hard mechanic champ or a champ that isn't OP like everyone else that plays meta champs. I'm saying this because a lot of players judge you by your playstyle by your champs by their critics requirements etc of what an avg or a good player should be, but in the end it's way too much talk and info about who is playing what and why when it should be just start learning how to play the game watch some guides on all roles to have a general understanding and play the game a lot until you master it. Ofcourse there's stuff like if you want to climb ranks you must do some trainings or just play more or play 1 or 2 champs only, but that often gets boring and if you're not after ranks you can just always play something diffrent until finally you come down to your senses and play less champs and more times. Overall maybe the things I said were just an empty message but thank you for reading it whoever did.

As a player who peaked at emerald 4 and hasn't gotten back to that rank in a few months, I can confirm that plat 1 players are garbage and emerald 3 players are also garbage, they're just in winners queue

I've reached diamond for the first time recently, people are and will be delusional in every elo. They are so delusional they fr think riot sabotages their ranked games to keep them playing, personally I think league is an amazing game but this opinion will never get recognized by the general player base. The ranked system works as intended, if you play well consistently you will climb. People will have bad games and people will troll in every elo, if you come to terms with that it makes it easier for you. Climbing is all about consistency and your willingness to learn

This split is broken but fun, easy to climb in, unfortunately you have to abuse the meta but besides that, as a challeger peaker multiple seasons by now I can confirm that only threshold has gotten way up comparing to past seasonal leaderboard requirements

I was bronze/silver from s6 to s10, made a new account for s11 till now, I’ve been plat the whole time. Rank and MMR are esoteric bullshit

Solo queue rank cannot objectively matter as long as boosting and smurfing exists

And it's a journey thing, EVERY SINGLE grandmaster once was a diamond 'trash' one, once were a gold one, once were a bronze turd, might never reach Challenger, wet dreams about a World Championship title. Now, how you acquire your rank, is in millions ways fkd up and hard. All the tiny gritty things you need to learn, AND THEN 'master'. AND then, you play with 9 other delulu that may help/allow you to get an S+ that game, or a F for fktrd. I mean, it's not like chess where it's one on one, your WHOLE AND ENTIRE decisions against theirs, and that's it, straight cut, he won, you won, but there's only one person to blame, well two, but you get what I mean, that IS a real rank (mehh kind'of >.> - Ranks are still Delulu, an ego trip measurement of their inflated ungraspable immeasurable self in a frame context of a not yet over journey..). League ranks are 'cumulative team ranks' over an eternal span of lifetime waste. Only the very top Wolrd champs and the very bottom no champs truly deserves their ranks, all the rest of players are unstable migratory units, learning, forgetting, steaming and crying. And then the others understand what ranks are and just enjoy norms :)
