21 year Leah Kagasa was last crowned miss Uganda 2016/2017 after beating 20 other beauty contestants at a colourful ceremony held at Kampala Serena hotel.
The winner was however advised by former Miss Uganda and Member of Parliament for Dokolo District Cecilia Ogwal not to focus on politics but uplift Uganda's image.
The beauty search for Miss Uganda 2016/2017 came to an end yesterday.
21 beauty girls from different regions of Uganda contested for the crown to replace Zahara Nakiyaga who was crowned Miss Uganda 2015/16.
21 year old Leah Kagasa from Kabalole District drove away a brand new Toyota car.
