Absolutely! They are bringing modern developments tot heir bikes and not resting on their name like the other U.S. brand we all know.

OMG. We landed on the moon, have NASA and silicon valley...... The best we can do is V-Twins bigger than most (all??) Subcompact car engines? Come on USA, get Eric Buell and Keano Reeves (Okay, so he's Canadian. Big deal) in the same factory and let's build some cool stuff.

Water cooled V-Twins are meh, cos for me V-Twins are about the look of the engine. I'm for the VVT air cooled versions.

Theyre using Victory technology. Im still mad they ditched the brand for hipster bikes. Theyre just not as aggressive as the Vics. Im no fan of bedazzled leather and shit hanging everywhere.also not a fan of the prices either. Polaris is a rip off now.

@@nonofyourbusiness7631 I built and ran what was Victory's flagship dealer here in the UK in '04/'05 - I loved the bikes, especially the Hammer. But a Scout will slaughter any Vic through the Twisties - they ARE the more aggressive ride if that's what you want. And they're very competitively priced. The big Vic's - especially the tourers - were under-specced and starting to look old by the time Polaris axed the brand 12 years later - so little had changed in the lineup; the Vegas was nearly fifteen years old by then! (still a damn fine bike today, though...) With the new Powerplus range Indian will effectively replace and upgrade the Victory lineup within just a few years - that's no mean feat. They just need a big power/muscle cruiser to compete with bikes like the Diavel, FXD-R new Rocket 3 - bikes that have all been introduced since the Hammer and Breakout changed the game in that sector. I love Victory, but when Indian came along it just made sense to go with that. Looks like it's paying off, as well...

The 3rd engine actually, they also make a 1200cc V-Twin FTR engine. Water cooled.

The Scout actually started life as the Victory Octane so technically, it is a Victory motor.

I agree, the Indian dealer we have is shit, i prefer the Indian motorcycle but i am considering getting a 2020 Street Glide if they come out with a colour i like. Like to see the Scorched Orange again or maybe Amber Whiskey. Indian has not yet mastered paint, their colours are BORING

HA! Good point. That's about all these types have in them today, Posing at the coffee shop. Makes me sick. Put 'em on a real bike and get 'em out on the road and they will start crying for Mommy after 100 miles! I ride a Victory Vision. I have other bikes, but this is my primary ride. So far nothing that Polaris Indian has made since they killed Vic is worth a damn to me. They are cramped, overpriced old man bikes with a pretty nice engine that makes good torque but signs off too early. And if you don't fit on one, you will not fit on any because they are all the same frame. Except for the Scout which is even smaller! Having said all that, I will hold opinion of this new machine until I actually see and sit on one. I already know it won't beat my Vision, but let's see. At least the water-cooled engine is a step in the right direction. Again, let's see what the bike actually looks/feels/sounds/rides like.

No lib hipster would be seen on a Harley, electric or not. That's grandpa's bike. The new twin RE is cool, any supermotard will do, or any air cooled in line 4.

@@rhllnm back in my drinking days i would go to a bar and see one harley out front. Inside the place was full of so much leather it looked like a gay bar and everyone was talking about their bikes at home in the garage. since i was pretty much living on my ancient, beat up BMW at the time i wasn't impressed. Now those guys are all cage driver and their harleys are memories. My old BMW still runs.

I would like to see a Roadmaster with the liquid cooled engine and a smaller front fender. I like th large fender on the Chief, but five me the Chieftain Limited fender on the Roadmaster

Indian can't win for losing with some people. No matter how they style a fixed fairing, V-twin bike, they are going to be accused of coping the road glide. From what I can see from the leaked video, the Indian fairing does come close to looking like a Road Glide.
