The flares come out much more in this video...looks a bit bland from the side profile, but a proper set of rims and lowered stance would go a long way to improve that. I don't think its ugly, but I wouldn't consider getting the EV version.

The Banshee version will be 90k plus and then with upgraded hp packages will be over 100k not counting any other upgrades like wheels, sound system etc.

It is just a preproduction prototype. There are going to be numerous prototypes driven on roads by engineers for testing purposes. The lights on it may not be the lights for the actual production model. Generally, preproduction prototypes have temporary lights installed on it. Prototypes are generally used for performance testing, systems integration testing, high-altitude testing, inclement weather testing, etc. Once testing is complete, they go through the certification phase, and then, finally, production. Prototypes are sent to the crusher for destruction

This is most likely the 400V model, I'd guess that they would change up the appearance a little to differentiate between the entry level and high performance models but we'll have to wait and see

What would be masterful if Dodge is trolling us all, and if this car is actually a decoy. It may be the actual 2025 Dodge Charger is stunning. It makes sense let the charger will be first as it's used by many police agencies, the Challenger will follow at some point.

Not gonna lie. The 2025 charger just looks like a 2025 updated redesigned Challenger. Zero charger vibes unless you were born in the 70s.

What do you mean by Zero charger vibes unless you were born in the 70s? This car looks NOTHING like and has nothing that resembles the old Charger! Only the Dodge name and Fratzog emblem are 1970's and older Charger/Dodge vibe.. The style is 2006-now it resembles Dodge's style since 2006-current mix of all 2006-now generation of Charger and Challenger,nothing that looks or resembles any old real Dodge cars! When the 2008 Challenger came out,I hated it it looked nothing like the original,it was narrower taller and fat...I did buy a 2009 Challenger RT but they still look odd to me when parked by my 71 Challenger R/T..

@0:26 facts. I'm unstable with it too at this point. The footage of it moving wasn't very appealing to me but that's most likely due to the gutter dip in the street making the car look high yet the other clips it looked helka nice. Overall I think it's better than the concept in some ways.

I think on the one they showed at sema and the car shows was the SRT version of the car, it had a symbol where the hellcat logo usually is. This looks like it may me the sxt out of the bunch.

All EV's need coolant to help with keeping the batteries warm an cool depending, if it's winter or summer. Battery temps are very important for EV Charging an Performance.

The main thing that made the Charger’s and Challenger’s desirable in the past is they didn’t just look fast and mean… They were both. Idc how mean it looks, if it’s an E.V. that needs 30hrs of charging for 3hrs of driving then it’s just a high tech paper weight. And you can put a dozen turbos on a straight six, and it still wouldn’t compare to a big block v-8. Just my 2 cents but add in the initial price and cost of ownership, I really don’t see these “new” models being half as popular as the old/current ones.

Remember the car under the tarp that Tim kuniskis showed at the outcoming of The limited editions that is the front end of the gas version of this car look up the event when they unveiled the limited editions you will see the car under the tarp he shows just one little piece of the front end that car has not even been seen yet for sure it's not the demon 170 go watch the video. That front end of the gas version does not resemble this front end of the electric one at all

I Don't care how powerful it is just with a electric powertrain or the Hurricane 6CYI engine for that matter !!! The only bright spot about this car, is that with the ice option Hurricane 6CYI engine and rwd, is that somebody will take the Leap and swap this thing with a Hemi V8 engine and put it in this car !!

the more I see it the more I like it, dodge is good at making people talk about their cars, I bet they intentionally showed their worst pics in purpose so they can impressed everyone once it officially released or announced, time will tell, best bet its to keep expectations low, and yes the design still better than many EV out there, and its said that there will be a ICE version so I think that would make it very successful

The car looks fine. It looks like a real charger. No body is worried about the looks. Purists are cool with it. It’s what’s under (not) under the hood. It’s the fake sound, it’s the lack of an exhaust system. The trim upgrade program..that’s what people don’t like

If you want to look look at the unveiling video of The limited editions Tim kuniskis shows this car the gas version under the the tarp my proof is that car has not debuted yet and you could tell it was a charger front end it was a red car and he shows the cooling port on the left front end

As for chicken, if I get cravings for fried chicken these days, I head to our local Bojangles in Euless, Texas. Great strips, especially with that jalapeno ranch sauce, and great chicken sandwich! Both beat Popeyes by a thousand miles. To spice up the Hurricane version of the Charger, they need to offer the Tremec 6 speed.

I've liked it from Day 1. It looks good and something I find very important in a newer model is being able to see the DNA in the design. I wanna see a car from 100 yards away and say... yo... that looks like a new (insert ride here) before I even get to it. Those DNA lines are a must.

The Chiron is the fastest I'm assuming he means quickest. I don't think any other version other then maybe the Banshee with the top spec so most expensive will be on par or maybe slightly faster than a Plaid. Anything other than Banshee with the highest upgrade package won't even be on the Plaid level.

This may be the gas version. It doesn't say Daytona on the back which was supposed to be the EV only trim and it doesn't have the Fratzog logo on the front like the EV that was leaked.

@TheRicodragon yes I know lol. Dodge previously announced that this logo represented their new EV products. They also said that the "daytona" trim was only for the EV car. Maybe this is just a test mule and doesn't have them, but the car that had the pics releases by Dodge did have them so this is a different car.

Something im very sure of is, dodge will try to make the hurricane have a good exhaust sound, its hard to let go of the hemi but time changes… my father was telling me how much he misses cars that have carburetors because it was a different experience than today V8 cars. The new generation will never experience what it feels to have a hellcat, 6.4, 5.7

@S8ER those are v6s. The R34 was an inline 6 and that car definitely sounds good. but the current Gtr is a V6 along with the Z. If you want an exhaust noise, look at g20 m340i for a single turbo i6 and g80 m3 for twin turbo.

It's the front of the car, literally the rest of the car looks normal. Get rims, paint job whatever u want. But the front just looks ugly, so unless you plan on changing that, that's why it's ugly by default

I’m rarely certain the recent news involving EV in winter cold will dissuade any potential buyers Dodge had for the electric version of their cars. No matter what: the HEMI is gone. Be prepared for boring Hybrids.

I rarely like new car style changes, but some of them grow on me over time. At least it doesn't look like everything else. I think its success will be based on how well it performs against other electrics. In the performance world, the ICE is dead.

Not according to the 24 hour le man. When put to endurance tests, EVs can't go the distance yet. Even if they could, will need to have the capability of 3-minute charge times to beat the slowest ICE cars to the finish line.

@@evildrizzt1 I don't think car manufacturers are building cars for 24-hour races. Most people drive less than 200 miles a day and can easily re-charge overnight. If that's not you, stick with ICE, but you will definitely be in the review of performance EVs.
