Leaking radiator valve that I’ve tried to stop leaking before and it’s still weeping, but I miss the obvious…. Always check the easy bits first.
Also a few other bread and butter jobs today along with a waste pipe that’s falling apart and a trick outside tap install

The customer had chrome radiator thermostat valve and you replaced it with white one! Shouldn't you replaced it with chrome one to match with new radiator!

The customer wanted a valve that wasn’t leaking, I had a white head valve one in the van and he said that was fine, not a problem at all. If he wanted a chrome one I would of driven to plumbase and got one… But thanks for watching

1. It wasn't a new rad was it, it was a leaking valve that needed changing. Just because it was a designer rad doesn't mean it's within 12 months old. 2. Why add extra cost and effort to a job for both yourself and the customer if you don't need too? If the customer is happy with a standard valve, why go to the hassle of getting another chrome one? 🤷‍♂️

That outside tap ,you could have taken a measurement off the extractor fan Grill on the wall. And maybe put a lever valve in the cupboard to make it easier for the punter to isolate.

I could of measured off that, however I measured off the wall. I could of put a switched isolator on to make it easier than a lever valve You could do the same job so many different ways buddy…👍🏼👍🏼

Change valves directly when they leak. Working twice and charge once is not OK.

If you had watched the video and listened you would of seen that I didn’t see it was the valve body itself leaking till the end.
