I am a fan of Leandrea J. every since Sunday's best and pray God blesses her life and continues to lead, teach and guide her that she may continue to bless the masses with her talent..She shld have been the one to sing this on the NAACP awards..Altho Yolanda Adams was good, I think Leandrea wldve taken it home...

Why would someone compare LeAndria and Whitney? smh those two voices are INCOMPARABLE. Whitney is in her OWN class that cannot be touched and LeAndria is in her own class that CANNOT be touched. LOVE both Ladies!

Comparing is a spirit! God says each and every one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made. Blacks (which I am) are the world worst in comparing one singer with another. If she is your girl and you enjoy her style, it stops there. Every singer is unique and CANNOT be compared to another because he/she is not that person; he/she is him/herself.
Sorry, I meant to say "...could see HER at the BET awards". I would have LOVED LOVED LOVED this particular performance to be on the awards honoring Whitney, I guess.
Please know that I mean it when I say, GIVE IT A REST! Why keep comparing? Before it was LeAndra, it was somewhat else. Fantasia (if you did not know) does not have to take a back seat to anyone. Each person has his/her gift and no one else can take it or be compared to it. The trumpet cannot say to the flute that I am better because I give a different sound. They both have purposes. There is NO SUCH thing as the best singer. An individual has a right to like his/her singer at will.
Personally, I think singers hate to be compared to other singers. I'm a singer and I know it kinda annoys me that people want me to sing like so and so some times. Or they say, I remind them of this person or that person. If I think that's annoying, I KNOW other singers think that, too!. lol!!
Can you believe Amber Bullock (Season 4 winner of Sunday Best) was really mad because she wasn't asked to sing at the Celebration of Gospel? In an interview w/ dagospeltruth(dot)com she was talking of how and I QUOTE: "Le'Andria sang TWO songs!" She claimed it was okay, but I sensed a bit of jealousy there. The interviewer asked her if she feels better knowing she performed at the BET awards, she said "no"..lol I was saying that she needs to humble herself..I couldn't believe she was so mad.

Yeah, I just read a few days ago that she was scheduled to be at an engagement in Mississippi. Not to be mean but, I sure wish she cancelled the Mississippi engagement so I and the mainstream audience could see at the BET awards..lol!
