A song that use to be sung on any given Sunday in both the Baptist and holiness Churches of yesteryear. In this video, the whole Church takes part in the singing. Enjoy!
So Greatful for this video as I woke up around the most blessed time of the day early in the wee hours of the morn with God on my mind and this song in my heart . As I listened to more than a few video versions of this song , I find that this is my favorite as it the old way I remember sung as a child ,even made more soul stirring to me with no music but just the voices of those worshipping God, and though this video is years old , the blessing of it by God has touched me here now in the darkest hours of America yet in the year 2024 . May we as a now divided Nation and Individually repent our sins to God the Father / Creator in the name of Jesus Christ who died for the sins of this world , and return to him before All is lost .
One time I walked into a Pentecostal church and there was one lady playing this hymn on the piano ...just one piano ..but that gathering was so high in the spirit while singing this song that I was automatically drawn to this worship service. . Being raised a Roman Catholic I hadn't ever seen anything like that.
@@grod805 I didn't. I said being raised RC I never saw anything like that. Some Catholic services hold folk chior mass..which I prefer. I am not much on organ music...that could be said about many denominations be they Catholic or Protestant. I said nothing about theology or christian dogma.
@@fightintheshade because I was raised Roman Catholic. .. So that is what I relate to and compare one worship service to another to. Just not a fan of organ music. .but I do enjoy folk choir mass held at a local Catholic church. Organ services are held in both Catholic and Protestant churches. This one happened to be an assembly of God denomination.
Black Catholic Churches do have some of this music, as well as music that is more “standard Catholic.” If you have one nearby you might check it out. I did once… nine years ago… still going there. 😊
Absolutely beautiful. I’m not religious but grew up goin to church every Sunday. Hymns like that literally bring tears to my eyes. We didn’t have anything quite that good, but it was closer to that than whatever the hell the garbage is they play in the contemporary mega churches.
What a fellowship, what a joy divine, Leaning on the everlasting arms; What a blessedness, what a peace is mine, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, Safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Oh, how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way, Leaning on the everlasting arms; Oh, how bright the path grows from day to day, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, Safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlasting arms. Leaning, leaning, Safe and secure from all alarms; Leaning, leaning, Leaning on the everlasting arms.
If ever an Awakening was needed it is NOW! If you read this please pray that we get a renewal within the church family and songs like this spark the Spirit in our heart. AMEN! CSB X
No awakening will ever happen again. Partially due to the erroneous doctrines propagated by all these new “translations” of the Bible. We’re stuck with local revivals. There will never be another global, regional, or nation revival until the Tribulation Period
I love every single song this church sings I wish there was a church like this near me does anybody know of any churches like this near Orange County or where this church is I am in heaven with all of their music! Thank you so much God bless you!

What is the name of this Church? 2. Where is this Church located? 3. Who is The Pastor of this Church? 4. What denomination is this church?
