You make great, detailed videos that are easy to understand. i subscribed today! Keep up the great work. I have my first euc arriving in approximately three weeks (Lynx) and i look forward to learning everything i need to know about working on, modifying, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading/improving my first euc, by watching your videos.

Looking at the video, looks like you could do this without moving the shock from the wheel. Also looks like it would be possible to add preload with washers/spacer (same diameter and gauge the spring is) at the top or bottom of the spring (used to do that on old motorbike forks). With the 70lb being the biggest they do, if you want more after you've already wound preload to max then maybe that's the way to achieve it?
@techietome
@techietome 29 дней назад
or... could you measure the springs please, the next time you have a set apart. Inside diameter, outside diameter, and length?
@techietome
@techietome 25 дней назад
also, what's the volume of shock oil (10w)?
@2cells1pack
@2cells1pack 22 дня назад
I'm not sure about doing it without removal. Springs: OD - 31mm ID - 21mm Length - 22.5cm Shock Oil for Patton 130mL, Lynx/Sherman-S - 150ml.

Have you been able to find out the fastace shock pdf? Sometimes they have helpful information starting points such as how many clicks to start for what weight and when and how to bleed the air valve (after extensive use and shock is stiff due to heat and friction causing pressure buildup)

Do you have any advice for topping out the suspension or clunking noises? I've been trying to adjust my preload and figure it out, but my SS has gotten louder over time when going down stairs, and when I pop over things I tend to get a clunk of the suspension topping out.

Is it a bottom out sound. Or the other way sound fully uncompressed coming from being compressed like going over a root. Is that the sound?
@MariusMuja

Is this the clunking noise: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TDkjoa0Pc0Q.htmlsi=nAyKxofzdNUgP2xo&t=438 ? If so, it could be the bottom bushings being loose, which was the case for me. I fixed the bottom bushings being loose by taking them out and adding some aluminum HVAC tape on the back (as a very thin shim) before putting them back in.
@BigORider
@BigORider Месяц назад

Thanks for the video. Have you personally ridden the 70lb spring? If so, how much stiffer does it feel compared to the 66lb? I really like my 66lb spring on urban streets.

Do you have a good source for buying these springs for us customers in Europe? If not, it would be really nice to share the exact dimensions/specs of the springs. I habe a Sherman S with the 62lbs spring (the max that was available at first) and want to exchange to the 70lbs progressive one. Thanks.

I would check with your local retailer. They can purchase them from leaperkim

@@2cells1pack Thanks for your answer. I already asked Linnea about that and she answered me that they do not sell parts from the suspension. I had a warranty case and it would have been easy for them to pack this inside my packet. In germany we do not have a "local'" dealer as we are criminals if we ride our EUCs outside of private ground. This is all so sad. Therefore if we get the exact specs/dimension perhaps we may get them on the aftermarket.
