Your comment about keeping them classic. I understand that. But another way to look at it, and I’m sure you will agree/see where I’m coming from. End users being issued an MP5 would do whatever they could to get the advantage over any opposition. Dark, smoke, detection (flash), size, etc. modernizing these things is the point. Great stuff.
@@honkhonk1555 In a Lee Sporting AR lower run a RISE-535 trigger it's not slow. Timney is the best choice it's the cheapest and is very fast, it will eat 40 rounds in less than 2.5 seconds. Even faster if its suppressed.
@@bigslinking nice. I’m itching to get one for the sp5k and put a super safety in it. Just my opinion , but the RDBB is kind of pointless without some type of full faux semi auto. I have an akv9 which is direct blowback, and semiauto doesn’t feel much different in the mp5 to me. The akv9 is very easy to bumpfire, and can get rowdy real fast. I bet the RDBB would make that so much more manageable.
@@Steve_MP5I can understand that but being able to use the button mag release instead of the paddle mag release seems like an interesting proposition, along with a better trigger feel than most mp5 triggers since they were designed for full semi-auto pewpew (I see you youtube guidelines).
Hey buddy. Been watching your videos on these rails that you have. On this mp5k model are the trilugs on the barrel still full usable? That little bump makes me worried and dont want to go through the process of returning if it wont fit my can
Any ideas where the negative feedback on the rail is coming from? People are saying it scratches the frame of the mp5 poorly built etc. In videos it seems like a solid option
This may be a better question for leapers but I just bent the rear section just a hair so it would sit flush. I was having issue with the lug interface on top sitting on a cant.
@@Steve_MP5 Got it. Thanks. I figured out the issue with my SP5K yesterday. The front sight housing is too thick. I unscrewed the rear lock ring and removed it. The MonoUpper fit perfect! I'll figure the rest out today. BTW, I called Leapers and spoke to tech support. No joke, he said "sometimes gun accessories just need to be modified to fit properly". While that's true, how about they tell us upfront? Well thanks for your reply and your YT content. Keep on gunnin'
@@American-FOB this is pretty true, though. I've had to tinker with things from time to time as there is always slight deviation between batches of the same firearm. I kind of enjoy it as it brings your closer to the platform.
