Thank you for your videos. Lots of study to do and it’s great to listen to different speakers pronunciations. ❤ Been married to my Chinese wife for 34 years. Returning later this year to China again for a holiday, my plan is to intensely learn Mandarin and surprise her upon arrival 😂. Need to video it. I have my work cut out for me, but can’t wait 😊.
Learning Chinese characters makes no sense. While children who are just starting school can learn this alphabet in a year at the latest, adults can learn it in a week at the latest. I think learning the Chinese alphabet is a complete torture. Thanks to this video, I saw that learning the Chinese language is only possible with the pinyin alphabet. Chinese alphabet characters are the biggest obstacle to learning Chinese, in fact, they are a nightmare.
What platform are using to video chat???? I want to keep in touch with someone and can’t figure out how to do that from USA to China 😮. Please 🙏🏽 help!????
Finally stopped procrastinating and decided to start my Chinese classes. I’m just a Nigerian girl obsessed with Chinese movies and their language. I hope I get to be able to communicate with this beautiful language soon enough!!!! Wǒ ài nǐ ❤️
Gosh, thank you so much. I am just an American who has always marveled at Chinese language and excellent humor! I am always intimidated at trying to learn Chinese speech and, well basically, any tonal language. It is perplexing to me, but your videos make me feel confident that in a long, long time, someone might be able to understand me! 😅 Thank you * ∞. I really mean it, because our countries and cultures are unique-we share so much in common, but we are different enough that we can learn and build with each other the more we listen to each other. I am trying, but my pronunciation is not so good! I can’t even say the Mandarin word for “cat” so well. I tried almost 15 times with my neighbor, Mr. Chen, but I think I failed pitifully. And then, that guy tried to teach me how to play Go. A good night was had by none. 😂 No, all in good spirit and a lot of laughs. Anyway, all I really wanted to do was to offer my thanks, but I get sidetracked very easily. Thank you for the videos and I will work very hard and memory and pronunciation. It’s hard for Westerners to hear the subtleties. But again, thank you very, very much. And please accept all my kind regards, Elliott
We're glad you were able to use Chinese to connect with your neighbor Mr. Chen, Go is a very complex but interesting game! Wishing you the best of luck with your Chinese studies!
