I quit betting on horses. Racing secretaries have ruined racing for me. The complicated conditions make it too hard to handicap. I prefer non winners of the year, or non winners of 2 of the year at different class levels. Oh well, I get a lot more work done around the house now, so I shouldn't complain.

Gary you just blew the whistle on your industry. So someone did you a favor by making conditions on a race to make your horse eligible. Wouldn't that be considered cheating? Oh and you were Greatful not only did your horse get in but Holy be jesus he won too. If your looking for reasons why harness racing has been in the gutter for years look no further than your statement. Hell you even interrupted your guest while he was in the middle of his presentation to announce to the world that its about cheating. I would never bet on harness racing anyway there's far too many unknown variables simply and solely because of the harness themselves. It seems to me in harness racing that if your horse that you like doesn't immediately start a head out of the gate or at least one or two behind it has no chance of maneuvering
