I had a 65 impala SS 283 hardtop all original when i was 18 years old. I sold the car for $65 back in 1981. That was nearly 40 years ago and i still kick myself on a regular basis.
Darn, I did learn something and enjoyed the ride, the quality of this vid was real high, thanks from a guy from New Zealand, stumbled on your vids, happy I did, don't always keep up with the flow cause of everyday, but when I do I always enjoy, you are ultra talented, you know alot about everything, super impressed mate, cheers.
Turbo hydramatic was the name for the new 3 speed automatic.....Powerglide was the 2 speed automatic. The Caprice trim was introduced on the Impala 4 door hardtop body in mid 1965. The Caprice availability was expanded to also include a 2 door formal roof hardtop and a station wagon in 1966.
