@@rightlanehog3151 Thanks. We have a 2014 Avalon. Looking for something with a higher seat, so it's easier for my 86 year old mother to get in. Have narrowed it down to the Venza and the Crown. Can't really get our hands on either for this measurement, and it's not a measurement that is provided in reviews or specs.

I was fortunate to get the platinum. I LOVE it! Didn’t think I would like the bi-tone, but the magnetic gray/black looks amazing! That’s what I got! 🙌

thats awesome. the two tone paint makes it look unique and you immediatly know thats a Crown when you see it. The Crown Platinum is so nice and has so many good features.

Good point. I don't think this model will see another generation. If it does, the 2nd generation will be it's last. Just buy a Lexus for that price.

I bought the Plarinum trim as it matches pretty much to the Lexus 500h with the 2.4 engine, twin hybrid motors, 6 speed transmission and adaptive suspension. Was looking for a Luxury / Power vehicle instead of gas savings.

This is listed for 55K on there sight. That is the same price as the ES350 Ultra Luxury. Who would pick this over that? No Power truck, HUD and a pop rob hood. The JBL is terrible in Toyota, I tried them all and no go!

Everything is perfect until you hit the rear end looks like an after thought. Maybe a lip at the end instead of egg looking, more gloss black accents in the middle, and curves/flares.

I suspect big incentives are coming to keep these moving off lots after the introduction. I just can't justify 55k+ for this, especially when the more luxury version of this brand has a better overall ES due for revision soon.

The idea of a $55,000 car, with a hood prop, is laughable. Since this motor has a Turbo, what are its fuel requirements. Most Turbos require Premium. I'm not impressed.

I was like that. I love NA ICE engines. Then I learned hybrid - Toyotas - are less maintenance and more reliable than their own NA ICE engines. Love my RAV4 XSE hybrid. Cannot wait to see the grand highlander and Tacoma hybrid max setups.

If you are worried about Hybrid systems, don't be lol Well when it is made by Toyota. They make the best hybrid systems in the world. They are really reliable. People still drive and push 250k-300k+ mile old prius cars still to this day no problems. I would only worry when its a hybrid from other manufacturers. I think Honda makes a close second. My friend has had his Prius Prime for about 2 years and he puts miles on it like crazy. 0 issues just basic oil changes and tires he has done. His car just hit 80k miles in just two years.

I wish automakers would make an effort to innovate on something besides an EV. This thing’s ride bright and shape make it halfway to a Mustang Mach-E but both are only available as EVs for no good reason. All these automakers have imagination coming out their pores when they design an EV but the ICEs get their aesthetics copied and pasted year after year

The distributor options are such a total rip-off. $699 for a couple oil changes and 4 tire rotations? Seriously? Plus $449 for the floor and trunk mats that Toyota sells for $309? $73 for a set of cables of which you need only one that would cost $5 anywhere else? How do they get away with that? This is really unbelievable. In New England, the exact same vehicle goes for $54,179 MSRP, how can that be? Also, why would anyone in their right mind buy this car for $55,000 when you can get a Lexus ES350 Ultra Luxury (i.e., the top trim) for less, including the optional panoramic sunroof that actually opens, the upgraded sound system, and overall better features?

I stopped doing business with Vandergriff, after they screwed a buddy out of GAP coverage just to get their warranties on a deal And I know for sure they putting 10k markup on the crown. Head to Family Toyota in Burleson instead.
