@@cucciafr68 Not true. Koshi guruma is a wheel (no bump !) around the hip. On seoi nage, you load your partner on your back. Completely different principle, completely different throw. Koshi guruma is koshi waza, seoi nage is te waza.
@@danle3181 Yes, you are correct. I was focusing too much on the hand placement. Only kubi nage needs the arm around the head. I did a deeper dive into this when teaching it to my class. Now I wonder if you use the sleeve if it is a sode koshi guruma?
