I should have also mentioned "kuan."00
(koo-AHN) which means
"what-do-you-call-it" or
"this thing here; that thing there" or
"a word I'd rather not say" or
something vague
examples:
He still needs to fix the...kuan.
Did you wash your...kuan?
You need to use this kuan..tabo.
How would you say,
Is he there ( near you) now?
Is Anna still ( over ) there?
Oh, so her mother is still ( over) there.
(More challenging)
There was only rice when I arrived at the party. They say it's going to rain on Friday while we will be going to Cebu. I wonder if Anna has already eaten that fish for lunch.
