I know this video is a bit over two years old, but I've only recently started to (try to) learn Dutch, and found this channel, and you've explained some things a lot better than books and sites I've found, so thank you very much. Can't really support you financially since I'm in a bad place atm, but I'd like you to know I appreciate what you're doing, and I hope you will keep doing it. :) (I saw that it's once again been a while that you've uploaded anything, but at least I still have some videos to go through.)

Your way of teaching is so nice.

You can technically do this with English as well, at the risk of sounding archaic or literary. "Amsterdam lies in the Netherlands," or "Your grapes are sat on your desk" are valid-sounding sentences. They'd sound *better* with simply "to be," but they have historical precedent and especially with "liggen," they're used when determining the position of geographical locations.

You're doing a fantastic job here. From a German perspective tho, it's not that weird because we use those words similarly (instead of "zitten", we use "stecken" -> stick). Btw, I've been searching the whole web for decent Dutch courses, and found nothing which really suited me. Just today, I had the idea to check youtube, and it's awesome.
