Many people decided to replace boring books with uneducated entertainers/teachers. It's better not to study the language than to study it with these guys. Thanks again, Kevin and Lisa.
You could be right when saying: "It's better NOT to study the language than to study it with these guys". BUT: I'd say; - It's better NOT to replace books at all (I wouldn't say "boring") with these guys BECAUSE, at least, you'd learn better with books. - Definitely, the books have to be written by someone else (native teachers or speakers) NOT THESE GUYS, of course.
At last! We have professional teachers, all those false teachers , aiming just to earn money freak me out, this POS IS SOMETHING 😅, shame, Kevin and Liza u slay ❤
Keep up the great work! Your videos are essential for correcting the misinformation spread by fake teachers with their incorrect grammar lessons. Don't stop posting, we need your valuable insights to set the record straight!
A very good explanation. Thank you, teacher Kevin. I highly appreciate your effort through this RU-vid channel to educate us. Actually, it's difficult to understand what that person with puffy face speaks. I don't think he speaks correct English. Thanks for showing us the mistakes that these uneducated guys make. Here in Sri Lanka too, there are lots of such unqualified, bogus tutors conducting English tuition classes. Keep showing more such mistakes made by so-called youtubers who are not qualified enough to teach English.
Thank you so much for the great video! Sorry for being off topic, but I have a quick question about articles. There's a famous song "Take Me to Church" (by Hozier). Why don't we use an article a or the with "church" in this case?
● We go to church to worship God. ← No article is used. ● When we go to the church, we refer to the place (maybe to do something else), but not to the regular or usual purpose of going there. Please note the article 'the' is used.
I like all of Kevin and Liza's videos, but I'm in doubt whether videos like this one, with long episodes with mistakes, are useful. A student might unconsciously memorize those mistakes, right?
Thanks Kevin and Lisa. I am a religious follower of your channel. Thanks because you are focusing on different specious information which we have consumed. Tons of thanks
He claims to have a degree which qualifies him to teach the English language but I've got my doubts, he said once he passed the IELTS or TOEFL exams, I'm not sure, and with the best notes but I think he said it just to show off or to brag.
There are a lot of people who are far from being right grammatic. In my language, we call it kind of in the word f@ck someone makes 4 mistakes. Thank you!
Hi Kevin, how's it goin' ?. Kevin I was wondering maybe the phrasal verb is; "To harp up ON" which means "insistir" in Spanish, I mean, - "to harp up on" is the phrasal verb that can be used for the verb "to insist" and this guy, I mean, POC is confused. I just want you to clear up, please: Can it be that ? - "to harp on" is a synonym for "to harp UP ON". ?. - thanks in advance for the answer.
Kevin and Liza are performing a valuable service in helping learners, upholding standards and exposing the charlatans posing as teachers of English. The one corrected in the bulk of this video is shocking in his shameless incompetence. These quacks need to be rooted out and urged to refund the money they have conned innocents into parting with.
for mouth ONLY. And if you say "you've speaking English". - You don't need to say; "for mouth only" IT'S REDUNDANT, don't you think ? 😊. You use your mouth to speak. And for eating too, of course.
hark = hear ? HARK the herald angels sing. Glory to the newborn king. Peace on earth and mercy mild. God and sinners reconcile ... It's the first word of a song we used to sing every Christmas in high school. Ours is an English medium, Catholic girls' school run by nuns in HK.
Kevin, why do you say "this is not exist in English"? shouldn't you say "doesn't exist"? UPD: calm down, people. yeah, he probably said "does" but it was unclear. it's like weak /dəz/ that's why it was confusing
