If I had Alexa for high school French, I might have learned something. At this point, I'm 66 and try to learn new phrases and vocabulary and must review it because I live in the US and no one speaks French here. I did travel twice to France and did OK, but I made an effort to learn how to ask for different foods, beverages and to ask which way I go to get to the Metro. Everyone there was very nice.
27yo American who understands a decent but TINY bit of many languages lol - I took French in Middle school for about one and a half school years....... The basics are SOLIDLY in my vocabulary, like wanting things and having them, and a few foods and introductions, but my actual vocabulary en Français is so limited....... This channel is an absolute life-saver, for anyone trying to learn without going to a physical class!!! I personally went ahead and even ordered some new French 'school textbooks' to reinforce everything through repetition - I'm learning completely solo, and out of personal interest, so I don't actually have anyone to speak French with LOL. (: I recently found a French artist who's music I LOVE, and a couple of poets, and understanding what they're saying adds so much to the vibes!! I'm hoping to be able to read/listen to French and understand it, fluently, in due time....however long it takes!! Lol

This is very funny, because days in french sound like in spanish. Lundi - Lunes Mardi - Martes Mecredi - Miercoles Jeudi - Jueves Vendredi - Viernes I think knowing Spanish and English will make French easier to learn :)

This is my day 2 learning French, this lesson is quite but hard coz there's a lot of words that you need to memorize/learn but overall, she explained it clearly and well. I'm still learning it before i move on to the next lesson!.

For those who speaks Spanish, the days of the week are a little more accesible by comparison. Example: Monday-Lundi-Lunes Tuesday-Mardi-Martes Wednesday-Mercredi-Miércoles Thursday-Jeudi-Jueves Friday-Vendredi-Viernes Saturday-Samedi-Sabado Sunday-Dimanche-Domingo
I once learned French with over 10 lessons about rules for pronunciation and without knowing any meaning of any word. It was boring and I forgot very quickly. While your class is much funnier, more practical and useful. Thanks.

Maintenant, une de mes filles apprend le français, en utilisant ces leçons ainsi que d'autres. J'ai besoin d'une grande révision de TOUT !! Merci pour ces cours ! Ils vont beaucoup m'aider !! I think you would find it interesting to know that the only word I remember from the single French lesson I had more than 10 years ago is actually "mercredi" (and I am not even a native English speaker). It's so strange how that word seems to universally resonate with people

I find your lessons really help with my ADHD. They're fun, easy to understand and it doesn't feel so daunting. It can be tricky for me to learn a new language but I find the way you teach to be super helpful
