When i watched this video i had never even drawn a line in this software as it looked overwhelming to master, but your video is so easy to follow that you have eased me into this program perfectly thank you so much for your time and effort to making these tutorials available. excellent job thanks, best wishes George👍👍

@@3DGladiator While I have seen a tutorial that is easier to follow, it is because it was a far simpler design being worked on. What i love about this one is it is easy to follow and covers lots of important elements that are going to transfer to many different projects, where the other one only got you the very basics. Excellent work very well explained, thank you for taking the time to make such a great tutorial.

I've been trying to learn Fusion 360 for like 2 years now and the learning curve seemed to be very steep. Today I started watching this video and I must say this makes a lot more sense than any tutorial I've seen so far. Thank you so much for the super simple explanations. I will finish this and try a design first. Then I might post new comments but so far I like this a lot.

Thank you very much for your comment, your kind words and your support. This really means a lot to me! I'm very happy to hear that you appreciate my work. It took quite some time to put this together. Long-form content like this is not so common on RU-vid, but I still think it helps people who want to get started the most. Let me know if you have any questions, I'm always happy to help. Have a great and creative week. Best, Ben

Thank you so much for being a true beginner tutorial. I've only watched 5 mins and you've already coved more information that most of the other tutorial i've been finding. There's to many people who teach with the "follow me exactly step by step" is the same thing as learning a program.

I had gone thru 100's of tutorials last year when I was checking out and learning Fusion 360. I had a pretty good handle on it and then stopped using it for about 9 months and forgot a lot of what I learned. This is by far the best all around video to either begin using the program or refresh yourself in the function of the this powerful program. Excellent job of the content, sound and video quality.

Mr. Gladiator. Your knowledge and skill with Fusion 360 is astounding! I purchased my first 3D printer 2 weeks ago with the hope of learning to print items for my model railroad. I am a long-time SketchUp user (20+ years), but I quickly discovered it would not be adequately powerful enough to create the models I needed, at least without some major hoop-jumping. I went searching and found Fusion 360. I am a total beginner, and the learning curve looks like Mt. Everest. Your video has given me hope that one day I might actually be able to accomplish something. I learned many valuable work-flow concepts. Fusion 360 is an amazing program; it seems there are no limits. When I was learning to play guitar I sat in front of my old record player, lifted the needle, sat it back down on the outer edge of the disk as many times as I need untilI learned to play the song. Guess I'll be doing that with your video. Thanks for posting and sharing your knowledge.

Thanks for watching and your kind words Louie! This was exactly what I had in mind when I was recording it. It's not the super basic beginner tutorial people are used to, because I start modeling right away without explaining all functions first. It is addressed to users who are willing to put in the work. When you follow the tutorial from start to finish, you should get a good feeling for how to address different modeling tasks in Fusion. Thanks again for watching! Have a great and creative week. This video is awesome! I purchased my first 3D printer. I had an idea and wanted to work on inventing it. But, to work out the design it would be cheaper just to get my own 3D printer. Then came the CAD part. I really wanted to like FreeCAD. I did my ultimate best with FreeCAD. But, if I had continued I would have no hair left. I would have pulled it out. After trying for a week I gave up. From crashing to bugs. To frustrating. I decided on Fusion360. First video to learn Fusion360 was yours. I'm creating lots of small design now. Loving it. Thanks for the awesome training video!

Perfect! Last time I used AutoCAD was the 2002 version (tedious line drawings). Things have changed very much, making it way easier to construct something. Obviously you are very experienced with the program to quickly build the part but this will sure give me the help I need to practice and begin self learning the program and apply it to my next career in 3D modelling. PS The Coffee is among the best in the world here in Australia! Cheers :)

Heya mate thank you for this..ive been intimidated to get into Fusion, I tried doing something a few months ago but stopped in frustration. Ive just completed the boiler coffee basket and filter and about to start the collection chamber. I'm feeling proud. Lots of pausing and rewind and listen again(dropping play speed to .75 has helped) my Roomate who lives upstairs is very impressed with what ive done so far he's quite experienced with Fusion 360.. Im only following directions from you but my coffee pot is a little different design so using the tools your teaching to make a model that represent my dimensions.....thank you :)

Having watched a few Tutorials by other Presenters I have managed to create some simple models, with varying degrees of ease and success, but after watching this one I now feel a lot more confident. You have clarified many of the basic concepts, missing from the other ones. I appreciate how you explain where and why you use specific functions and commands for their relevant context and situations. This has been a huge breakthrough for me, thank you. However, as an Engineer (Toolmaker turned Cabinetmaker), I struggle with your use of centimetres, with the occasional mm thrown in, as I think in either mm or metres, as do all the machines and other people in these Industries. I appreciate that you are attempting to reach a wide audience and that the Fashion Industry folk and Graphic Designers may be more familiar with Centimetres, although if they are going to be using Fusion 360 for CAM purposes, they will most likely be forced to work in mm or inches anyway. Apart from this tiny point, I feel that this is a very well constructed, (no pun intended) Tutorial introducing many of the various functions and how to use them in a 'real life' and relatable context. Well done and keep up the good work.

Thank you very much for your comment and your kind words! The dimension issues is a very valid point and was already criticized by many viewers. It's just plain wrong to build something like this (or basically anything) using centimeters instead of millimeters. Happy New Year. Best, Ben

Thanks for the tutorial. I'm just a high school student who has an elective at school where we are required to self-learn tinkercad and fusion 360. Tinkercad was easy enough but when I logged onto fusion, it looked so confusing. I had watched like 3 tutorials before this one and I gotta say this one really helped me get a grip on fusion 360! Again, thanks a lot!
