Flasche - the a is not pronounced with a long " a " Heiße - the ß is pronounced as a sharp s also known as scharfes sz in German. Hope that helps. (I am a Native German speaker)

If Z is not followed by any of the vowels then how it would be pronounce? Same with S. Thanks

WAS should be pronounce as VAS and WANN should be pronounce as VANN, because W is V in German. Its not WIE, its VIE.

Why do you keep pronouncing W words with a W and not a V sound? And the a in cat is not the same as kase with the umlaut.
