It basically means that I am unable to develop sexual interest or romantic feelings unless I already have some other emotional connection with that person. I am actually fascinated by how fast most people can tell someone what they want from them or what kind of relationship they can imagine with them, sometimes after the first date. Honestly, at that point I can only say if I find her nice to be around. If I like someone enough and feel secure enough to open up and be vulnerable around her, I might be open to trying out a few things just to see if they feel right. But that is still far from actual sexual or romantic desire. And sometimes I notice that I don't develop any interest even after ending up in bed with someone. That's why I don't really like this game of flirting. Even I have no idea if I will actually develop any attraction towards someone. It feels like a really weird bet.
