Here I will explain and teach how to use a Digital Multimeter (DMM) for beginners up to intermediate / advanced. If you already know some basics, this training could still be helpful as it will cover some higher level topics. 🟢 PART 2 • How to Check Your Inve...
This guide takes you through many key details of a typical digital multimeter, with an eye towards solar energy applications but also other disciplines. Any DIY enthusiast can benefit from knowing how to use a standard digital multimeter.
Learn how to take basic measurements with a digital multimeter, then go beyond and apply that knowledge to real-world systems. Basic safety is also covered. Hope this video helps someone - thanks for watching!

@kwameashigbui9596 Rewinding motors and coils can be challenging... you have very interesting work. Primarily I'd learn about Inductors, Transformers and especially Ohms Law (resistance calculations). Here are several items to look at for further information. I hope they can be of some assistance to you. So you also could measure amps of 110V or 220V devices with the 10A setting as long as the device draws 10A or less? Also, what is the diameter of the banana plugs to replace the cheap probes it comes with (because this looks like every cheap multimeter I've ever owned)?
@solarpoweredge
@solarpoweredge 14 дней назад
Hi, this meter measures only DC through the 10A side. The banana plugs are usually 4mm on multimeters, however it's best to measure them to make sure. Better test probes with silicone insulation can be had for just a few bucks. For measuring high voltage AC Amps, an AC clamp meter is much safer, example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gqTZ-K_NaAo.html Hope this helps
