Hey everyone! Here we are with the next Vocabulary Series episode! This one was a ton of fun to make! I will be moving house now and won't have internet for 2 weeks, however after that I've got some really special videos planned thanks to the wonderful folks over at SEGA! Can't wait! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for watching and hope you're having fun learning Japanese!
it's crazy how much time and effort you put into all these videos you make. I'm still trying to learn the basics of everything and don't know much grammar, but watching this helps me learn when I'm exhausted from using my textbook. hope your moving goes alright!
The amount of work that goes into these videos is insane. I so wish there was more to this. Though I'm not taking any language tests. I feel very immersed in the learning and would love to get more vocab understanding from the Yakuza series.
This channel is absolutely unbelievably good. Thank you so, so much to everyone working so hard to provide these awesome videos. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Youre all absolute legends.
Thanks so much haha It's just me working on these videos but my wife helps proof check the Japanese is all correct and solid! Thanks so much for enjoying the videos!
Ooh great timing. I'm 10 minutes from Dotonbori rn. Leaving for Fukuoka tomorrow and before I leave, I want to stop at a bar and sing one round of Bakamitai or Judgement especially since this area was so influential to Sotenbori.(Don't know 24hr Cinderella sadly😢)
Oh nice! Hope you enjoy the karaoke!! Fukuoka is an amazing city! Hope you have a blast! Make sure to eat some at some Yatai-mise, also its Oyster season right now in Itoshima
I searched for this because there's a RU-vidr named "Jimmy Kim", and he said he learned how to speak japanese (he speaks it very well) by just playing yakuza. So I'm very intrigued by it.
This is really well done! I focus on immersion as much as possible, but sometimes you need someone to dissect and explain sentences to you, especially given the nature of Japanese. The level of explanation, as well as replaying the sentence afterward, was perfect!
I got sooooo excited when I saw this! This was the first of the yakuza series I played, in part because I love the seiyuu, Kuroda-san, and fell in love with the series, the amazing writing, all the incredible characters, the brilliant seiyuu, and of course who doesn’t love MAJIMA? Kiryu is also wonderful, but MAJIMA!! I actually watched over half of this with my husband when it went live last night, as he’s trying to better his English, and I’m trying to better my Japanese. He complimented your Japanese and said your English is also incredibly easy to listen to, as a Japanese native. I’m super looking forward to you continuing this series. I love learning from your channel. Thank you so very much for your videos! I’m guessing you’ll have to edit some of the side quests and parts of the later movies and the like, lol, but I can’t wait!
I love your videos!❤ You've helped me so much. Could you do the game project sekai next? The words surely aren't that difficult but i'm stil not good enough.
Awesome! I just picked this up again, continuing a save from 2019 haha, want to get ready for infinite wealth. I’m still not at a level where I could play in Japanese completely but I can understand parts of the dialogue
Just started playing this and I have to say it definitely had a lot of words I missed. But still enjoyable enough to keep going . Alao, this video is definitely helping fill in the gaps. 笑。
kiryuu saying 出来ないすかね is more. like a response to his last statement like saying “i wonder if yakuza cant make people happy ?” and when the guy goes さあーな its more like “ well i wonder too ” sort of sarcastically
Looking dapper in that suit! I’m working my way through 13 Sentinels, where I have also came across phrases such as “喧嘩を売る”, especially from gruff characters like Nenji and Yuki, so it’s nice to get a vocabulary review in a video like this.
hey Mathew, I really want to disscus about your immersion kit. It is really interesting but there's still something I want to ask you. How can I message you?
