about the "controversy" as I can see you watch this episode after the translation was corrected already but before it was corrected the translation says something like "beat bts" some armys (not all) dragged txt left and right because that mistranslation which is quite sad. kmoas corrected it and also the show commented and apologized for mistranslation as well. I know BTS are so proud to TXT and TXT also has a lot of respect and love for BTS.

i’ve been an army for some years now and just recently started getting into TXT finally and when i saw the translations (before they were changed) i never took it that seriously but i knew SOME armys were gonna go wild sadly😭 bts and txt respect each other and that’s all that matters, wish people would understand that but we know that won’t happen

@@kyab4005 as an army i also immediately knew some people weren’t gonna like it, i’ve been an army for about five years so i kinda joined when txt debuted and i’ve seen their challenges and growth. i understood what the mc meant: i do think they’re pretty unique, and that uniqueness is what makes them stand out among their generation… just like bts! but that’s also because i understand a little korean so i got more context than the subs. not to defend the hate they got but i think the wrong translation plus the whole current situation has armys on edge and exponentially more protective of the tannies atm (rightfully so! the sea of false rumors and accusations is incredibly overwhelming and frustrating), sadly txt ended up hurt by it. there’s also been a lot of instances lately where bts’s achievements have been dismissed too, which is so weird imo, like when that show said that svt build hybe and hoshi had to correct that it was bts… why would the show initially even mention them when it is about another group? what good could come from the comparison?

@@gingeryoongisupremacy7826 Did I say something that need to be educated about such things? anyway No one says that txt will beat bts, not the host, moa or even txt itself. and again moa already cleared that it's a mistranslation. some armys should stop the hate towards txt every time bts link to them. Actually among all the others moas and armys should be the one who knows how both groups love, care and respect each other. Even you, mentioned that you don't consider a moa who agree with those statement as an actual moa which is true. You don't need to educate a moa about the facts as (real) moa already knows that even a non kpop fan knows that, everyone knows that.

That’s a crazy reason for controversy. Some people need to take the chill pill and go touch grass. Seriously. But on a happier note this was a really cute episode and I thoroughly enjoyed your insights and comments. The episode woohyun was amazing too! At this point 재진구 is the highlight of my week 😂

though i agree with you about the need for some people to touch some grass, i gotta say armys have been very on edge lately with the whole situation at hybe because, for some reason, bts is now at the center (negatively) of all the news surrounding it, when it didn’t have anything to do with them to begin with! it was all about hybe and newjeans’ label ador. but with haters digging up old disproven rumors and new ones appearing left and right, i think this mistranslation was mostly bad timing :/

@@Me00Moi well I simply do not care about the hybe thing at all nor do I think it (or haters spreading rumours) will really effect bts in any way in the long run. Also I do not give a single flying f*ck even if Jaejoong had actually said that txt could beat bts, whatever that even means. They aren’t really competing each other so even if txt somehow became more popular or successful than bts (which is highly unlikely) why would that be an issue? If there are idiots being idiotic then the smart (and healthy)thing to do is to ignore them, block them and move on. I don’t think the armys that are “on edge” need to have excuses made for them or their shitty behavior explained, they simply need to sit down and shut up and calm down. Also sorry if I sound harsh I promise I’m not frustrated at you specifically (unless you are one of the people creating unnecessary drama then feel free to take this personally) just at the people who claim to love and respect some of the nicest and most positive people while also ignoring their entire message.

@@emmakulmala2173 oh i absolutely agree with your frustration at those people, i never get involved in any of that, i just read about it and move on with my day! i was scared for a moment there thinking you were suddenly mad at me 😅 thankfully i read until the end. i agree with you that the loud problematic part of the fandom does a consistent disservice to what bts actually stand for :( i mostly ignore it but sometimes it does get to me, like these days with the hate train coming at full force; sometimes i understand where the reaction and exaggeration comes from, (i don’t do anything about it tho because, why spread more negativity? it won’t change anything and i’m not gonna start hating on people that don’t deserve it, like txt here) but that’s why i tried to contextualice in case you weren’t aware, and did care 😁

I mean of course the moment the " bts " word is mentioned, so should the word controversy, and i think he knew that but didn't give a damn anyway, i like how he says whatever he wants through this show , like what more can happen to him , the dude was blacklisted for years for antagonisting another huge label and he fine and functioning, seriously the " bts " word is almost a curse word at this point , no one can mention it in any context and expect to walk away

I watched this episode after the translation was changed so I didn't know but it's sad that people took it so badly. Also I don't think there's any infighting between artists in Hybe, maybe between the companies under it but I only ever see positive and joking/teasing interactions between the artists except New Jeans for some reason I don't see them interact much with other Hybe artists. Sorry if this wasn't what you were talking about, I'm not trying to start anything.
