Thanks for sharing your skills. I'm self taught on the guitar except for a few "lessons" the past decade. I work full time and get little time to practice. Being able to access your lessons on my schedule has allowed me to become a better player. Thank again.

Marty; To me, YOU are the best ambassador to guitar on RU-vid. I will NEVER be able to play due to muscular distrophy, but I still spend hours watching your lessons. BTW - I live in Kalamazoo and know several Heritage Guitar people. Namely Ren Wall that developed the HRW pickup. Keep posting buddy. You have fans.

How is Marty not playing in the Stones I don't understand. He is so talented and can really play all different styles of guitar. Even if he is not writing his own music (I don't know, maybe he is) he is too good to be giving us lessons for free. Marty you freaking rock, man!

I love ur vids man! The one grove is not really a triplet ( unless u change da tempo) but if u stress every 3rd 16 in a group of 4 16's per beat, u get that funky grove. (1) e+(a) 2e(+)a3(e)+a(4)e+a Now I gotta practice everything u were talking bout!!! Thanks for all of do great vids.

I play the same extended chords all the time in blues. And i even use the pinky finger all the time which is a plus for me. And i like how you explain the chords and notes as a numeric system other than tab. I played jazz early on in grade school to improvise but i seem to have trouble with what scale i should play as i move up the fretboard. I seen what you are doing with the scales at the root note but i want to see more about scales that should be played with extended chord progressions.
