Thanks very much for these detailed breakdowns. I'm a bit curious about the formulation 'se ele vai fazer aquilo' at 0:42. Just wondering whether this formulation (ir conjugated in the present + verb in the infinitive) is common in casual speech? For IF clauses, are the options generally: 1) Se ele faz (talking more about a general action) 2) Se ele fizer (future subjunctive) 3) Se ele fizesse (imperfect subjunctive)?

Yes, grammatically speaking, a hypothetical future action like this calls for the future subjunctive ("Se ele for fazer" or "Se ele fizer"). But as you noted, you'll often hear the present used in casual speech. Related to number 3 would be "Se ele tivesse feito" :)

@@gdxdesigns1310 the thing is that he (Darren) makes so many little mistakes that it would be a really hard video to do. Mainly just doing Brazilian Portuguese right now, but maybe I’ll do a Euro vs Brazilian Portuguese comparison featuring Ronaldo
